Fuzzy's Taco Shop - Taco restaurant in College Station - 1712 Southwest Pkwy Suite100, USA

5/6 I'm being pretty observant AND generous here. I don't like giving negative reviews. Let's start off with the negatives: This is NOT a kid friendly place to eat. See my photo of what the restroom looked like. It was trashy - which matched the back parking lot. (Idk why employees find it okay to work in a place like that it's NOT hard to pick up trash and to cover obscenities in the restroom it takes two minutes). The smell was like stale beer or alcohol. The customer service was ehhh. The lady at the counter didn't know if they had a smoker or not. She didn't know what a smoker was. It would be silly if they smoked their meats but would be amazing if they did 😂. The overall vibe and it being a neighborhood spot is great! The brisket nachos were heavily loaded for it being $8.00 (cook did a great job). I thought the queso was too salty and the nachos were cold but it's okay. I'm not going complain ate the whole thing and walked out stuffed and happy in general. Tldr; touch ups are important. I could get it done in less than 6 mins. There's a certain charm that a trashy place brings and when it pairs w "good" food it's not BAD. It was a fever dream mixed with a comforting feel.... It's worth the $10 I paid for the experience!

I was excited to come to fuzzy's after being away from Texas for a couple years. Grandson went to get lemonade, completely nasty. Ordered brisket nachos all the way, then chicken nachos, no fuzzy dust or Pico de Gallo, well. The omitted those from both. So when my daughter went to request some pico, the lady rudely said no, you said you didn't want any. This is not professional at all. Also the workers in the kitchen were playing music in the back louder than the music on the intercom. Terrible experience. Never come back to this location again.

We were there last minute but there was still over half an hour before closing. All of the chairs were on top of tables so we didn't even know if they really were still open but there was 3 people at the bar so we walked in. The bartender took our order and brought our drinks. We didn't know we had to walk to the kitchen window to pick up our food so I felt a little silly when one of the bar customers said, "that's y'all's food". We had chicken, beef and brisket tacos and they were all tasty. We didn't know what to do with our paper food trays or the big kitchen tray so we left it on the end of the bar and walked out. Maybe if we come earlier it wouldn't be so confusing. But the food was good and what interaction with the bar keep we had was good.

I'm one of the Fuzzy's lovers who gets annoyed when people talk smack about the food. If you're looking for authentic, Mexican, street food style tacos, OK - I get it, you're not getting that here. But the food is so good. I'm vegetarian and I'd go so far as to say the Fried Avocado taco is among my very favorite menu items anywhere! Nothing comes close. And I love Fuzzy Dust. Sprinkle that **** on everything! Please. I hope to be buried with Fuzzy Dust sprinkled on my lifeless body! Ok.. maybe I'm a little too excited. But I love Fuzzy's. I'm never disappointed, and whenever my day isn't going so well, Fuzzy's ALWAYS makes it better. Especially with a margarita! The taco plate is an outstanding value - as is everything, in my opinion. College Station is a million miles from home, I hope to never have to drive down here again, but at least I know the Fuzzy's Taco location out here is the same great food and service I know from Dallas. 5 stars.

The place was something I was never interested in trying since it's always packed with college students. Today it was not packed due to the game and myself and another went to try it. Pricing is fair for the food and the food is very good. I do not eat alot and often do not finish food I was able to be pleasantly full at 2 tacos and stuffed at 3. So it was not bad. My fiance got a quesadilla with brisket in it and he was so in love with it. I got the grilled veggies and unfortunately half of it gave a horrible burnt taste for some reason and I had my fiance try it and he was able to immediately taste that too. I toughed it out and half of the taco didn't taste like that. I also got two fried avocado tacos and they were very very good! However, I love spicy food and their sauces did not taste even slightly spicy. I asked if they had other options and was given jalapenos and told those are the options. I would for sure come back but would be bringing my own sauces.

Love the employees. Always friendly and I have the most pleasant experience every time I come. Will always be a go to place for margs and friends

Chicken nachos are why I keep coming back to this place and their drinks are definitely good, but everything else is mediocre. Wait time is always good, even when they’re busy and staff is always nice! TexMex is okay, their fajitas don’t stand out very much and the rice doesn’t have that Mexican flavor, but everything is a good price and you don’t feel cheated or anything. I love that they’re open late and it’s a nice hangout place with an option of outdoor seating if you want to bring your dog.

Tacos are good and cheap. Can't say the food is the best in town but it's worth every dime nonetheless. The wait times are reasonable. The place is usually packed with students. For me, their baked potatoes and cilantro rice go best as sides. The butt burnin' hot sauce is named such for a reason.
