Shopped for a new oven/range online and contacted Furniture & Appliance Mart in Rhinelander. Had great customer service from Brandon who made sure we got what we wanted, what it would take for installation, etc. He was able to procure the item two weeks earlier than what was expected. Installation went very quickly and smoothly. Appreciated the tracking of the delivery on the day of the event and the flexibility of the delivery staff to accommodate our plans that day despite them running ahead of schedule. Will definitely start with them on any future appliance and furniture needs.

My husband and I went into Furniture and Appliance Mart to view bed frames for a mattress we planned to purchase online. Adam greeted us and directed us to the mattresses. He worked with us about two hours. He explained a lot about hybrid mattresses. He was very good at answering out questions. We ended up purchasing a mattress, adjustable base and a recliner. The entire experience was very comfortable. We will be back for our next large purchases.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this furniture store to anyone. We decided to spend tons more than we originally wanted on a couch that would last us years and years so we wouldn’t have to keep having couches fall apart. Well, as you see in the first photo, they delivered the wrong piece. I guess no one bothered to look at it before they drove an hour and a half to deliver it to our house? It then took 3 months to deliver the actual matching piece of the sectional. Throughout the process, the communication with the store was atrocious. The store didn’t try to appease us in any way after waiting 3 months for our couch to come in and then delivering the wrong piece, followed by waiting 3 more months to get the full sectional. As you see in the 2nd photo, the new piece delivered doesn’t even match the color, but we couldn’t deal with trying to get ahold of anyone and never getting an answer, so we just deal with it. (I love “just dealing” with a couch I’m going to be paying off for the next 3 years!) The console part of the sectional didn’t function correctly and there were rips from delivery on the upholstery, so we needed a technician in when it was still brand new. Now, another 3 months (guess that’s the magic number in this equation) after finally getting the full couch, we have a board sticking out of the wedge piece of the sectional (the same piece that needed to be reupholstered) and we’ve contacted the company 6 times with no answer. Bottom line: the customer service is non-existent. I will say that our original salesperson at the store was great, but once they have your money, say goodbye to hospitality.

Adam who we have dealt with 8 years ago when we bought our furniture the last time was glad to help us again. The fact nearly 10 years later im still seeing the same employees has to be a testimony to how well this company treats their employees. If your employees are happy the business is gonna be run better and the customers will return. Spent close to $10,000 over the past 8 years and will always take my business back to them with the treatment I have received.

I can not recommend the service aspect of this company. It has been over a month since I first called for a problem with our gas range that we purchased at Furniture and Appliance Mart. First, we had to prepay $128.00 for a service tech to come to our home (we waited 3 weeks for him to arrive) and for him to confirm “yup, it’s broke. Some one will call you”..: we waited three business days with no call and when I called the service department I was told the part was ordered and someone would call the next day to see if it could be expedited…. We waited 4 business days and I called back and was told that the part was not ordered and we had to pay another $350.00 to order the part and they would call when the part was due in and they would schedule….. it’s been another 4 days with no call. So far we are out almost $500.00 with no repaired range and not even the curtesy of a call back. Terrible communication

Julie Was great. She greeted us when we came through the door and helped my mom pick out a bed/frame. She showed us the adjustable bed frames (not sure what they are called) and showed us the different mattress options such as purple bed, memory foam, etc. We had to leave and come back and she was more than willing to work with us that way. She explained their financing program as well and showed us the 2 protector options for the bed we purchased. Very knowledgeable and answered any questions that i had about the mattress/frame. Would highly recommend her if looking for furniture here.

Renee guided us to a great purchase decision. She has lots of practical input as well as CR data. Her style is helpful and low key. We went back to her because of how she handled a previous purchase. We'll continue to seek her out.
