Highly recommend coming in to train at FOL! I recently moved back to Ohio and had to leave my gym of 7 years behind, but Functions Of Life did not disappoint. I felt at home in no time, this gym has a great atmosphere and everyone is very welcoming. Barbell with Andrew and Arin is my favorite!

Functions of Life isn't merely a gym; it has evolved into a transformative force in my life. The trainers have become an extension of my family, united in our shared pursuit of becoming the best versions of ourselves. One of my initial hurdles was finding the motivation to get up and go, but Mike and his team don't shame you for those moments. Instead, they provide the motivation and support needed to surmount such challenges. The undeniable truth lies in the results. Since joining the Functions of Life family, I not only look better but also feel better, which is a testament to the incredible impact they've had on my journey.

Love working out with coach Holly! She motivates me to work harder which is a difficult task at 6:30 AM. I've never had a bad experience with any of the coaches that I've trained with at FOL

FOL is the best gym around for personal training and group classes!! I have been an active member for almost 8 years! Their trainers are always friendly and motivating. I have been doing small group personal training with Arin P for over 6 months and he is fabulous!. He is always in great spirits and makes me want to come to work out before the sun comes up! I also have to give shout outs to Jake, Holly, Andrew and, of course, Mike S (owner) for the training and classes they lead! Highly recommend!!!

My kids started working out at FOL for ninja warrior a few years ago. They loved that it was different and built their confidence. I started working out during their sessions and have increased the classes I take and also do group personal training with Coach Mike & Coach Andrew. Mike is the owner and a great trainer because he is tough & encouraging. I recently started with Coach Andrew for PT and he plans really tough workouts. I appreciate the gym community as well as the friendships I have made there. Highly recommend!

FOL is not just for adult fitness. Both of my children (ages 10 & 12) have been going there for 2 years. We started with classes and now do small group and personal training for speed, agility, strength and conditioning training. Both kids have excelled in their respective sports and we have seen less injuries. We’ve worked with multiple trainers (Mike, Holly, Andrew and Aaron) and appreciate each and every one of them and their contributions to our children’s health and fitness.

Functions of Life is a amazing place for group classes and personal training. I've been attending for 5+ years, and Arin P has been my trainer for more than 2 years. He is always friendly and upbeat (even when he is pushing me to work harder because he knows I can). Arin is effective at motivating both adult and teen athletes. I've seen definite improvements in my strength and body composition since I started working with Arin. My youngest son and I love attending classes together - Boot Camp for me and Ninja Warrior for him. FoL is great for the whole family.
