Fullerton Lodge - Featured Reviews (306)
There are a lot of bad, negative reviews from the past in 2018, etc. I started staying here on an almost weekly basis from 2022-current. I have stayed at a lot of hotels in a 1-2 mile radius of the Fullerton Motor Lodge. A lot bigger places with free breakfast and room service and swimming pool. Pool? No there is no pool here. However what you do get is a family owned business that cares. The room is always clean, smelling good, with complimentary soaps and shampoos. The TV and the WiFi are always working. This is not a party hotel/motel. The staff take the guests security very serious and monitor the property 24/7. The guests are usually couples, families, vacationers, and business professionals. The staff are very caring, helpful, and knowledgeable. If you are in town for business/work, Disney or Knotts, or just need to get away, I recommend Fullerton Motor Lodge.
Very average. Room and linens were mostly clean. Bed was comfortable enough but mattress cover was loud. Bring earplugs to ignore street traffic. Slept fine with them. Bathroom looks like they are halfway through a paint job but, again, clean enough. Had to keep bathroom door closed to avoid bright light, to sleep. Shampoo and conditioner but no coffee or other extras. Cheap, so mostly what I expected: just don't expect too much.
No frills, lowest priced place to stay. 2 separate buildings with a street separating them.
Employees were polite.
Pros:
Across the street from Costco.
Restaurants within walking distance.
Room was clean.
Cable TV.
Microwave.
Refrigerator.
Shampoo and soaps.
Cons:
They furnish an Ice bucket and plastic glasses, but if you want ice, it costs 50 cents a bucket.
No iron or ironing board in the room.
NO Coffee maker.
No continental breakfast.
The shower curtain sticks to you while you try to shower.
The bed was hard and was on a metal pedestal, so it made noise everytime I sat, laid down, or rolled over.
The hotel is on a main street, so there us some street notice at night.
I picked this hotel because of price, and event location, not for amenities.
It was satisfactory for my needs, but if you want the necessities (coffee maker)
and frills, pay more and stay at a hotel that offers them.
Right down the street from Downtown Fullerton, cozy little place, although the showers make you feel like your in a roadhouse motel slasher movie, lol!! Kind of retro like that. Family owned with what looks like immediate family doing house cleaning and property maintenance, very nice people though, and they are doing the best they can.
We arrived round 18. The reception/office was empty and with no doorbell I yelled "hello". After a couple of minutes a man came to help me. He asked if I wanted a smoke or non-smoke room. I said that my reservation says non-smoke. The man seemed annoyed of my reply and repeated the question with a harsh voice. No smiles. Once the check-in was done we got to the room. Old room and old bathroom. Seemed clean enough, but the age of the room made it feel less clean. ||The man at the front desk seemed happier at our checkout and was actually smiling then. ||Ok experience. Should be more service minded since the rooms aren't too notch.
For the price of $95. A night for 2 adults. The room should of been more clean..housekeepers need to have time to spend on deep cleaning rooms . Trash under nightstand when I moved it to find a outlet for my phone. Corners of bathroom floor were dirty. Door looked like it had been cracked and all they did was spackle it & not repaint it.Room needs more attention in cleaning...
I had Spaghetti lovers. Pasta, meat balls and sausage. It was okay! Everytime I go to this place waitresses are always in a hurry to get is out the door. I love the building. Very glamour and worth visiting!!
It is a good deal for your money, clean, safe and close to everything for walking and it is next door to world famous B&B Donuts, I have stayed here a few times about 40 years ago and now just lately and it has improved a lot in 40 years. Lol
I give it a thumbs up.
We were so impressed with this hotel. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. Housekeeping came in and cleaned our room every day. The breakfast was good. Each day was something a little different with different things to c

Amazing atmosphere and great coach. I've only been training for 4 months now at the gym but I feel like I learned a lot thanks to coach Isaac. Everyone's friendly and willing to teach.
So blessed to be able to train at Ethos. Grateful for all the awesome coaches, meeting great people to train with, and learning good jiu jitsu in a healthy culture gym. The coaches genuinely care for the students, the kids, and their parents. It's be
