Wouldn't let me rent a room even though they had a vacancy. The old man literally wrote with a sharpie, "Sold out" and taped it to the window. It was pouring rain outside and that was one of the rudest things that's happened to me.
Ok it's long but read it. First night room 122. Bad, had to move microwave to bathroom sink, no plug at location no big deal. Now the jacuzzi, fun but jets missing so water churns. Sink spits out a sprinkle of water so brush teeth in shower. Shower ok walk in with a bench seat. TV regular channels. WOKE UP IN WATER. didn't drain jacuzzi and it leaked, blankets got wet. Asked for another room. Happy to give me rm 117 another jacuzzi room. At first I was happy, considering price. Clean and microwave was plugged in and no need to move, looked new. TV fine. Furniture was pieced together but nice. Then after a few minutes the roaches came out, they were on everything. Bring bug spray. I noticed gaps in the door so bugs come and go. Look it's an old place, bugs happen, they could spray and problem solved. NO MOVE CHANNELS just commercial channels, bring fire stick. Pics are room 117.
Pros:
Walking distance to several value oriented restaurants, a hair and nail salon, two barber shops, and a liquor store
A/C works good
Decent sound insulation
Fridge and microwave
Decent WiFi
Cons:
I never could get the TV to work.
Bath is not handicap friendly
Toilet allergic to paper
This is the cheapest weekly rate I could find in the area, so I wasn't expecting the Ritz. But it is a perfectly adequate place to park your carcass.
So they charges us $40 cash deposit otherwise they would've kept the ID instead. The beds were hard.. but not as hard as the brick pillows. Blankets were thin. AC DOES NOT work! It was hot all night! The towels were rough/hard af-probably too much bleach on the towels. The shower did not seem that clean. There was no body wash or soap in the shower. I regret staying here. Would NOT recommend.. the pool and hot tub are disgustingly dirty. There was a creepy old man shooting up his wife with some drugs with the curtains wide open. This must happen all of the time.. not a safe place to stay.
I have stayed in a hot tub room here a few times. Hot tubs are the reason I go here. Seems to be under new management. It is an older motel, but they are doing a good job of cleaning it up. The new flooring is great. Looks like it has new paint in the rooms. The A/C works nicely. Plenty of hot water for filling the hot tub. The hot tubs look to be new, that is nice. They are putting in the effort to refresh this hotel. I would suggest new curtians in the room. The old ones are pretty bad. But all in all, a great price for a room with a hot tub. Rooms with hot tubs are getting harder to find. I will return.
If you are like us and book rooms at places that have pools for the purpose of using the pool, don’t book here. Apparently only open during summer even though this hot October day it was 95 degrees outside. Didn’t say anywhere that the pool wasn’t open. I paid to use that pool. Seriously stupid place sucks
My boyfriend and I got the king bed hotel room that has the jacuzzi spa tub in the room. The jacuzzi tub has room for up to 4 people because it is pretty big. My boyfriend and I had plenty of room to be in the jacuzzi tub together and that was relaxing and romantic. The king bed is comfortable and the towels and linens are clean. The room has a nice time bathroom and shower. The lamp above the bathroom mirror didn't work and the bulb wouldn't stay lit. There were some scratches and marks on the bathroom mirrors and the mirrors by the jacuzzi tub, which I didn't notice until a couple hours before check out because more light was in the hotel room. The air conditioner works very well. The staff was nice and made check in and check out very quick. The room deposit fee is $20, and they accept cash or credit card/ debit card. For the jacuzzi tub room, the deposit is $40. The room deposit is refunded at check out at the front desk. I think their pool is open for public use again and I think the front desk will provide extra towels if you request them. Nice location for the hotel and there is plenty of parking and the parking is free. Additionally, the place is quiet. In the morning about 3-4 hours before checking out, there was a lot of noise that was annoying because they were doing construction to the hotel. I didn't like that because it made me uncomfortable with so much random construction noise which stopped me from being able to watch TV. The room also has a microwave and mini refrigerator. A desk and a coffee maker are also in the room. There was a phone in the room, but it did not have phone signal. The carpet on the floor looks older, and has a lot of dirt and use. They probably vacuumed the floors, but the carpet is older and has been used a lot. I like that there are some restaurants, including fast food restaurants nearby even within walking distance. There is a wonderful Mexican restaurant nearby which has drive through and is open 24 hours. I would stay here again. 😁
I checked in Oct 21st and left a $40 deposit. I have yet to receive my refund and I've contacted the motel several times asking to speak with the manager. This is very unprofessional. No call back or email. Today is Nov 20th 2023.
Amazing atmosphere and great coach. I've only been training for 4 months now at the gym but I feel like I learned a lot thanks to coach Isaac. Everyone's friendly and willing to teach.
So blessed to be able to train at Ethos. Grateful for all the awesome coaches, meeting great people to train with, and learning good jiu jitsu in a healthy culture gym. The coaches genuinely care for the students, the kids, and their parents. It's be
