I had higher hopes based on the many positive reviews. The menu pictures look a lot better than their final product. The calamari on the menu looks amazing but upon arrival, it's very small and not worth the $$ spent. It didn't taste very good either... The salmon handroll was okay, the seaweed paper was more on the mushy side, I wouldn't order it again but would try other hand rolls The Tatka Tuna sushi roll was decent, 8 pieces is good value, but I can't say this was delicious. The baked mussels came in 3's. They are small and over priced like the calamari, not worth ordering again and soaked in a sweet sauce. Mussels are fabulous by their own unique flavor but the sauce on this dish buries the natural flavor of the mussels... I would not order these again. The atmosphere is really nice and positive and their food service was kind and prompt. Personally, I wouldn't return but am grateful for having come❤️ There are better sushi restaurants in town.

Nice cozy atmosphere. The sushi chef and hostess are friendly. Service is a bit slow sometimes due to less staff, but they will come around. Food quality and price are decent. It's a good place if you need your sushi/Japanese bento fix without breaking your wallet.

Really good place for both lunch and dinner for two. They have a great selection spread for the price and is definitely a place you’d want to visit 😏

The teriyaki and tempura combos were great. Gyoza was very good. Only disappointment was the California roll. It’s usually crab, avocado and cucumber, but there was no cucumber and almost no avocado. I’d expect a basic roll to be done well. Makes me wonder then about the quality of the large rolls. Despite that, I’d definitely come back.

Very homey feeling great food, ignore the bad reviews. Sometimes they can be a little slow as far as service, which could be slightly better at times. Everything perfect good drinks good atmosphere.Great prices too!!

Great place for pick up or dine in. Specials are well priced for all you get and sushi is always fresh. Always a treat stopping by Full Moon Tustin!

When it comes to a sushi restaurant, it's hard for a whole family to like it because half of us don't eat sushi. This restaurant actually offers some dishes that my husband and other daughter likes. I tried their sashimi bowl and our was just so so. I did their pan fired goods and Toro sushi.

Big fan of full moon! This was my first time to this location though and was quite content with the quick and friendly service and delicious food. The veggie tempura retained its heat surprisingly long! Loved dipping it in the tempura and then eating it with plain udon noodles. It was a bit overboard but I also got an avocado cucumber salad that tasted fresh and so delicious. There was a balanced ratio of rice to toppings that offered a cool element to my lunch. Love that they have options for plant-based eaters like me!
