Fujiyama Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar - Featured Reviews (1799)
This is an updated review for Fujiyama. This dining experience was horrible! For a Wednesday night after Christmas, the restaurant was packed. We did not sit at the hibachi table. We chose regular dining instead. The waiter forgot part of our order. The food was room temperature. The soup tasted like county water, and it was warmer than room temperature. The portions of meat and vegetables was significantly less than when we sat at the hibachi table. The presentation of the food was terrible. We ordered chicken hibachi for $20 a plate! The table was covered in brown craft paper. Very chic! I kept getting blinded by a security camera. If you go, sit at the hibachi table. Maybe your experience will be better than mine.
This location is fairly old and run down. Feels like 1988. The food was good - typical hibachi, but the service was a little lacking. There are other nicer and better kept Japanese steakhouses in the area, but if you want no frills and lots of paneling, come here.
What a great. We had such a fun time. The food is wonderful from the first spoonful of soup to the last. It's a great family atmosphere and is fun for the whole family. My 6-year-old grandson was enamored by the hibachi chef and all of his skills and little antics. We all enjoyed the filet mignon and chicken with vegetable dinner. All was cooked to perfection. I recommend the ginger salad dressing. And don't forget to ask for extra yum yum sauce. You can dip anything in it. The best part is, you will have so much food to take home that you can have a repeat for lunch the next day. Enjoy?
Great place for sushi. The restaurant is slightly dated but the food and service are wonderful. The 3 sushi rolls we ordered were excellent. Can’t wait to come back and order more! Tornado & Nagasaki were our favorites.
We had a mix of Maki and speciality rolls very good! We also had the miso soup which was very flavorful!
Every time me and my family have come in we've been put at the half booth half chair table which wouldn't be so bad but they consistently have their cleaning trolley behind it and they slam dishes into it which is jarring for the guest placed next to it. Today was the straw that broke the camels back and we'll not be coming back. The place is nice enough and the food is decent but when you have cleaning supplies smell, loud noises, and a waiter who doesn't seem to care it amounts to us being so annoyed we left just after getting our water.
Food was good. We got the early bird special. Had to case the waiter down for the Check. There was another birthday party right beside us at another table. Very very loud!
Just awful the food was overcooked the black things are remnants of what's supposed to be onions and or squash? The fish was so dry it absorbed all the moisture out of my mouth almost like biting into a brick with teriyaki sauce poured over it. It is sad this place used to be decent at one time, but never again will I come here. There are better options everywhere now. The service was also slow and we waited on refills for a long time. The table behind us was seated after us, but got at least theur soup and salad first.

First time going here. Sushis were great. I had the Volcano Roll and the Godzilla Roll. Prices are decent. Spent $35 on the sushi rolls and a Diet Coke. The only thing I did not like was that there was no hostess on the entrance. But the server or wa
Honestly, this was unexpectedly one of the best things I've done in 2023. My sister took me here when I was visiting from Charlotte, NC, and I love oddities, but I was absolutely blown away by the history lesson I got during my visit. The owner is am
