This was my initial visit to the fast food restaurant for a pickup order. The establishment is clean, and the menu prices are reasonable. I opted for the hibachi trio (steak, scallops, and shrimp), and it was truly delicious. They cooked the meat right in front of me, which added to the experience. The service was prompt, and the customer service was good.
I stopped by to grab a friend some lunch and then decided to get food for myself. My experience was phenomenal. I was greeted and my order was taken in a timely manner. I was able to see my food get cooked. Nothing was frozen and the food was fresh. I ordered the chicken hibachi with fried rice. I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of my friends food but I got the steak hibachi with noodles. They included yum yum sauce with the orders, which I was not expecting. Most places don’t include it and charge extra so I was very happy. This is the best hibachi I’ve had in a long time. I’ve shared this place with friends and family; it’s a must try! The restaurant was clean and plenty of free parking.
This is quick service food Japanese but absolutely some of the best ever for this type of service. I’ve eaten and tons of these and so far this is the highest quality and best prepared I’ve had since moving to Maryland 5 years ago. Delicious chicken and shrimp and the teriyaki sauce is as close to a real thick rich teriyaki as I have found outside of a really nice traditional restaurant. love traditional sit down Japanese and this really holds its own for a quick service offering. Very reasonable price considering the quality especially. Wish they had one closer to me in Columbia MD!
For me, Fuji Japan isn't quite authentic Japanese restaurant. it's kinda fast food in Japanese version. Mostly, their menu have Sushi and Hibachi. (No Ramen/Udon noodle or Donburi/Curry rice bowl) I never have Sushi yet, so I can't say anything about that but I can say they have many choices of Sushi for you. I only had Bento box and Hibachi here. I think they all were good one as standard. They might not really perfect but it is enough to enjoy the food. As for ambient and service are okay. There are some dining-in seats but decorative inside is not really feel like Japanese atmosphere. Anyway, overall it is still a good place to get some taste of Japanese food if you aren't overthinking of details.
Came here for lunch and to try this place out. We ordered the steak and cheese rolls as an appetizer. The crust was crispy and flakey. With the cheese melted and the savory steak, the combo is amazing. Also got the chicken bento box which way way better in freshness, flavor and presentation than others we have tried. For sushi, we got spicy tuna, spicy salmon and crispy shrimp tempura rolls. This is our new favorite restaurant. Every part of this restaurant screams high quality and fine dining but at an affordable price.
Hands down this place has been my go-to spot when I want to impress my friends with sushi or hibachi. Their sushi is always so fresh and the yum yum sauce just makes the hibachi even more flavorful. A typical local mom and pop shop that makes me feel so warm and welcomed every time I go there. 10/10 recommend.
My husband and I are regulars, we can’t get enough. When you’re looking for outside food that isn’t sketchy, too expensive and will do it’s job—you must come here. Are you getting a Michelin star meal? No. It’s not supposed to be that way! It feels as homey as you can get when you order out. I just really hope the quality never dies. Please, owners of Fuji, don’t sell out, keep the quality high, keep grinding and pushing. I know times are tough for restaurants but you guys are a staple in this area. We support you! Ordered here last night, got the steak and chicken hibachi and some sushi. Here is my good and bad: The good: 1. The price is very affordable. 2. The selection is very extensive. Lots of hibachi combinations and sushi offerings. 3. The California roll was fresh and flavorful. 4. The hibachi steak and rice was delicious. 5. Big portions! The bad: 1. The presentation of the hibachi needs improvement. Dumping all the ingredients into one box is a messy way to eat. I recommend putting the hibachi meal in a bento style box or plate where the ingredients are separated. 2. The chicken in the hibachi was dry, over cooked. Maybe if the pieces were cut bigger it wouldn't be a problem. 3. The yum yum sauce has too much mayonnaise flavor. Needs more tanginess flavor. Maybe try making it homemade. Thank you!
The prices here are high, but that's kind of what I expected coming in, so I don't consider that a reason to lower my rating. Everything about this restaurant matched my expectations. The eel was particularly delicious. They offer takeout boxes if y
Found her on Google, we created a tradition of eating at a West African restaurant on New Yearâs Day, so we drove from Arlington, Virginia to her place. We called ahead to let her know what we wanted everything is made fresh, she brought the food
