Fuji Express - Japanese restaurant in Hartsville - 902 S Fifth St, USA

I love the food's flavor or and price. My only complaint is they have recently hired a young man to answer the phone and check people out. Since they have hired him every time I call he clearly has a hard time understanding what I'm saying and taking my order correctly and I'm sure that is due to the language barrier. As a customer it is frustrating because I know when I get there after talking to him the order will be wrong and I'll have to have one of the young ladies fix it. When the young ladies were handling orders I never had this issue.

We love Fuji Express! The only thing I don't like is how they charge you more than the prices listed on the menus. Or they charge me more than the menu has listed.

This is NOT a Japanese restaurant at all. Very American. Their menu is incredibly weak. Only 4 "sushi" rolls, no unagi, no udon, no miso soup, no soba noodles, no donburi, no ramen, etc. My partner got shrimp fried rice and uhh, wow lmao. It was just rice and shrimp for sure. Cause there was no vegetables and NO flavor. I got a sushi roll and the raw salmon and cream cheese was room temperature, yikes. Also.. our waitress never brought out our menu, then comes up later asking if we wanted to order??? Then at the end of our meal, we sat there forever and never got our receipt. We flag her down and apparently we pay up front, would have been cool to know? Anyways, if you want some Japanese food, go to Florence or Golden Dragon!

Ordered shrimp& chicken hibachi was plain food no seasoning or sauces and they refused to refund or give credit for new correct orders.

Lily was a wonderful server! All the staff were attentive and the food was good. Portions aren’t how they used to be but it filled us up.

Its good but they give more rice than they do meat I have to ask and pay for extra

Foods are lousy and service is bad. Won't go there anymore.

Ordered Takeout, and their portions were great.
