Even though I’m only about 25 min away, I wish this place was closer. One of my favorite parks/farms in Northern VA. The animals are all well taken care of, the farm is very clean. There’s also a very cool old time carousel (typically on during the weekend), and a little shop on site. Also, there isn’t any entrance fee to visit. Always a great trip for little ones and our dog as well since they’re dog friendly! Photos are from different visits.
We've lived by this farm for many years and it has always been a great place to visit. There are many kids activities, animals, education and volunteer opportunities, and events. It's a nice place to walk your dog or bring children year-round!
Really big farm with lots to do. There are a few trails that lead you into the woods where you can find a hidden falls. On the farm there are plenty of animals to see. Even a friendly Cat that will hang out with you if talk to it.
An awesome FREE activity for toddlers and small kids. The farm has pigs, chickens, ducks, goats, horses, cows, and more. Plus there is a playground!
Parking is ample, restrooms are available. Not super handicap accessible because the terrain is uneven. We also utilize the shaded picnic table area for lunch.
Wonderful park to spend the day at. My four year old enjoyed the tractor ride. The animals looked healthy and well taken care of. The employees were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the farm.
This is one of my favorite places to bring my kids! We love walking around and seeing the animals (especially the baby pigs!!). It's great to explore and see the animals (for free!) and then be able to let the kids play at the park, and finish off the day with a ride on the cutest carousel.
Frying Pan Farm Park has lots to do! You can go on walks here, or a run if you fancy that. There are lots of animals to see; ducks, sheep, peacocks, cows, horses, lambs.
The pigpen is nicknamed "Hogwarts". The farm hours are from 9am to 5pm. Some of the horses are massive! It's a great place to take small children.
Very cute farm park, our daughter loves it here. The old carousel is a cute way to round out a visit.

Very nice big park with something for everyone. It has 2 small play areas, tennis courts, baseball field, field out open, and walking trails. Has a picnic area and some seats to watch the game.
