This park is a really pretty, forest covered hideaway, just about 12 minutes off the 101. It was quiet and secluded, just a few other peaceful park goers and a few dogs. There are great views of the Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier with benches for rest and contemplation. There's a playground, surprisingly clean bathrooms, and a center area with a small pavilion with tables on a green lawn. A well constructed path leads you down to a sandy spit of beach at low tide or up through the woods with towering Maples, Douglas Fir, and Pines. In all, a few, miles of meandering pleasure.

In the last few days we've walked most of the trails at least once, since we are anchored right off the beach (it's been rainy but gorgeous). The whole park is beautifully maintained, with nice trails that have steps in the steep sections. The walking is fairly easy throughout. The foliage is dense and lush and verdant, with plenty of variety. There are basic restrooms, and plenty of picnic tables on a pretty, wild flower strewn meadows. Spectacular views of the bay, too.

Stunningly beautiful park. A variety of well-maintained trails. Not flat- you will ascend and descend many times along this lovely walk.

Nice kinda longish drive to this Quiet park underneath tall trees , with spaced out bbqs, playground for the kids and trails around with beautiful views of the water .

Very nice place to relax, cool salt water experience, even saw a seal up close. Bath house was a bit old school. The one complaint I had was advertisment/signs or direction are no were to be found. The only reason I stopped was because I was looking for a place to fish which is very hard to do because everything on the water is private. Good for the rich lol....just not for me.

I came here for the first time to practice with my camera during the heavy wildfire smoke of September 2020. It's a small, well-maintained park with grass paths to the water and a small playground. There are several open areas for picnics or field activities, but the space is limited. I hope to come back when the smoke isn't so bad.

What a majestic and beautiful rainforest! The loop trail was 1.4 miles and extremely easy. Multiple dogs with owners on the path, and everyone was extremely friendly. I saw a lot of folks walking or running with headphones, but if it’s your first t

Great addition to the park a few years ago. Covered area with tables and cement "bench" around the majority of the circumference. Nice option for kids and parents who don't want to go to Wild Waves or other expensive water parks, but still can enjoy

I love exploring places that are hyper local to us. We decided to stop and watch people fish and just run out a little bit of energy. This is a great local access for the Chehalis Western trailhead bike path as well. Plenty of parking and a couple of

Great park and picnic area. Found best time to go with dog is before noon. Less people but for a good mix of people, going here is always a good vibe! Lots of nature here...the water area is very popular and a great place to cool off in the waters. S
