This is a cool little ice cream shop. Nice view of the railroad. Shakes are ok but the soft serve cone is amazing and a must get! All outdoor seating but on a nice night it’s perfect. Will be back.
Top notch. A hidden gem in this corner of Virginia. Just go up to the window and knock when you have decided what you want to order. Then pay and enjoy the outdoor seating while you wait. Pick up your delicious ice cream around the corner when your order is called. The soft-serve is very good and the milkshakes are delicious.
10/10 will come again when I'm in the area.
Bonus: you can see local postings on the wall and TRAINS on the railroad tracks! 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃❤️🍦
Not the best soft serve ice cream I've ever had, but still enjoyed it. Very close to the railroad tracks, so if a train ever came by it might be a fun experience for kids!
Closest thing to Carl’s ice cream ive found! Classic walk up experience. Fabulous Menu options for everyone!
Big menu. Great customer service. They were out of one particular add on for a sundae. They were more than willing to sub another with no up charge.
Great local Ice Cream shop! Great menu. I had a chocolate shake, my wife had a vanilla shake and our daughter had a dirt sundae. Everything we ordered was really good. We will be returning here.
Neat local spot with generous portions and a nice staff.
The kids got a sprinkles overload and the parents enjoyed the flurries. Just FYI that you may want to opt for a cup for the kids if they aren't fast eaters.
Just happened to look over and saw their sign. Not busy today, but probably a popular spot in the summer. Got a cone and a cup with Reese's cups. Supposedly small size, but plenty big for us! Great treat on a warm day!
Exceptional experience - hosts & staff are incredibly warm, delicious meals & coffee. The Carriage House was really beautiful. The history stirs up your imagination & the landscape is peaceful. Close to Charlottesville & wineries. As a wedding guest,
Gorgeous venue with anything you could possibly want for a wedding. Areas for the bridal party to get ready, a greenhouse for amazing photos, a small barn with lots of rustic charm leading to a patio, a bar car and a large reception/party building.
Nice staff, approachable and quick service. Easy to see and reasonable prices for food. Good for breakfast or lunch or just some coffee. If you're an interviewer or writer, it's a spectacular place to talk or do some work while munching on lunch and
Really fun, good food, especially for an area as tucked away as Louisa. Very generous portions. Rotating specials. Great cocktails. The service is quick and friendly. It gets busy so if you have a big group I recommend a reservation to be safe. Defin
We recently relocated to the area and were excited to see a few takeout options near by. We landed on Panda Garden & ordered a PuPu Platter, Orange Chicken Combo, and Chicken & Broccoli Combo. The price seemed very reasonable for portion sizes. Ever
