Highly recommend if you want to pay 8.00 plus for their 1/4 cheeseburger and get a patty that's the no thicker than Mickey Ds plain Jane cheeseburger. Fries were meh. The servers were friendly and polite plus the ice cream cone I bought (mocha chunk) was legit. Hard pass for me when I stop for a lunch in town again.
Very overpriced. $1 for tap water in my own water bottle!! $2 for the tiniest soda I’ve ever seen. The “little burger” also truly lives up to its name. Friendly staff though.

Comfort food and ice cream! Locally owned and operated with excellent service. A nice little classic feeling ice cream joint. The perfect pit stop on your travels between Marquette and Houghton. Outdoor seating only. No healthy options but that's not the point of a place like this. The burgers are awesome and they are made to order.
We came in tonight at 8:45, there was 5 of us ordering. My daughter's watermelon glacier with ice cream treat tipped over because she was carrying my grandbaby in her arms and it tipped over on the account of the baby. I really am quite surprised they ended up giving her another one since they kicked us off their property since they had just closed at 9:00pm . They told us they were closed, and if we wanted to sit outside to eat our ice cream we could find seats at the lakefront which is down the street. We had just spent $25.00, and we couldn'teven sit at their picnic table while they cleaned up the store. I will never go their again. We are not from Michigan, and we drove 7 hours to visit family, my family and I were treated rudely by the manager. '
A must stop when you drive into L'Anse or out! Lol! Always friendly & fast! We have tried several of their many varieties of ice cream creations but we have a weakness for the hand dipped. Even though they are all delicious! I tried a new one. Coconut, almond, chocolate. It was like eating an almond joy candy bar!!
Beautiful place to take a break from driving and rest. It is an easy path, mostly downhill there uphill back. Not too long. Very beautiful views. You walk along the river to a waterfall. The path is easy and takes about 10 minutes to go down 1 way.
Very nice long sandy beach. Stopped here on a Saturday and we were the only ones there. The lake was smooth as glass. Several parking spots with a grill and table at each one. There is a porta potty.

OK, the atmosphere is a 3. Get over it. It's a diner. Food and service is excellent. The hot roast beef sandwich and the extreme bacon burger were very tasty.
Food is delicious! The whitefish sandwich is great & the coleslaw is perfectly made. Fries are amazing! Ordered some of the specials during the fish fry.
