Frontier Inn - Motel in Susanville - 2685 Main St, USA

I'm putting one star because it will not let me put 0 stars.. If they had a trap star rating it would get a 5 star rating. Room was disgusting, the one sink in the room did not drain. The bathroom door was broken, the toilet seat was broken it's broken, the carpet had huge stains. The Wi-Fi did not work, it had an adjoining door to another room that the lock did not work so they just pushed a big dresser in front of it. The walls were smoke stained and had what appeared to be mold around the bottom. It was the only available room in town otherwise we would have moved. The next hotel was 3 hours away and after stepping into the hotel room had it not already been midnight we would have driven the 3 hours. The entire night there was people outside sitting on the balconies, or on the couches that were on the bottom floor in front of some of the rooms. We were worried about our vehicles.

Thank you for having a Gideon Bible in the room! It made everything else perfect! Room was clean. Beds were clean. The cleaning staff were amazing. Place was quiet at night. Don't judge a book by the cover! I'd stay again!

Beds and towels clean but not much else. Old fixtures and no effort to update. Guy in the office not friendly at all. Biggest gripe? 105 degrees and room has 1 small wall a/c that is lucky it blows any air at all - and it hadn't been turned on. Room was hotter than hell and didn't cool off.

The lady at the desk was very nice But that’s all after that it was awful! Have stayed a lot of places this was the worsted !! Got there at 11 no other rooms in town when we went to the stairs to go to room trash on the ground the room dirtiest we have ever stayed in old soap in shower dirt on baseboards and lights was afraid to look under the covers of bed laid on top to rest for 3 hours and left should have slept in my car

I'm coming from San Francisco and I'm traveling for my family reunion. We had to stop in a small town ive never heard of, susanville CA because were just driving through. But this hotel caught our attention, it's a cute little small aframe! When we got there we ranged the bell nd the desk guy came with a big smile, he was really friendly, he was really polite nd a nice guy. My family and i give him a 100% customer service. Loved there parking lot cause it's hidden and dont have to worry about any danger or crime. The breakfast is ok, wish they had some orange juice or any kind of fruit juice, coffee isn't really my thing. They should just work a little bit on that. But ill still give him a 5 for serving breakfast there. Some hotels don't really serve breakfast. Also, the office is beautiful and comfortable. I liked it. Ill say every time I pass by there I'll definitely come back and stay there wit my family and I! I loved it!

Room was clean. But that is the only good thing I could say. Both beds were terrible. They actually used a shower curtain for a water resistant mattress pad with a very worn out matter pad covering it. It was so slippery we couldn't keep sheets on blankets. Pillows were like rocks and we couldn't get the room cool, we had it on high but it barely blew at all.

The only good thing about this place is that it was open late and I had no place else to go. The heat didn't work, the carpet was nasty, the shower didn't look very clean and the shower head was awful. The pocket door to the bathroom was off the track so it had to be manhandled to move it. The door wouldn't latch unless it was slammed. The walls are paper thin.

The rooms really need updating, they may be clean but because of the need for paint and updating they tend to appear dirty. They do not provide coffee in the rooms. I was given a dirty room when I stayed there last year, the dust was so thick you could tell it hadn't been wiped down in months.
