One of two great places to eat in Port Jervis. Best chai ever, the Indian omelette is vegetarian and slaps so good 😊 Heard the red masala tea is amaze but it has never been available when I’ve have tried to order it at least 3 times now. Last time I ordered chai my cup was only 3/4 full which was a little odd but honestly I love this place so much I don’t even care!
We've had takeout from here in the past, but ate in the restaurant the other evening. The food was delicious, hot, and nicely presented. They have a varied menu, but we've just had the Indian selections.
First time to this odd but obviously beloved eatery in Port Jervis. Every customer seemed to have a lovely familiarity with the owners which is always good to see! The menu is very large and had American, Italian and Indian food. That's a lot of cuisine to cover and we stopped in because we were interested in the Indian food which is not that common in the area. We shared the Indian appetizer platter and the spicy basmati rice and peas. The rice was delicious buttery, nicely spiced with caramelized onions. The platter was not as good, but we liked the veggie samosas. The yogurt sauce was not that tasty with all that fried food and none of the traditional tamarind sauce. I had to ask for mango chutney. They didn't have chili sauce which I thought was strange.
Food for All. If you aren't sure what you want to eat... This is definitely a good place to go. They have a big array of choices. Indian, Italian, American, etc. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Seating inside and outside. Small restaurant but man does that food taste good. I was here with my wife and 3 kids (all under 4yrs old). The waitress was very attentive. The bathroom was clean. There is plenty of parking. We'll be back here again.
Wow, one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to. A gem of a place, we came by the town from NYC and it’s hands down better than the Indian places we order from. Definitely make a stop. Got the shrimp Biryani, and lamb kabobs! Yum The chef even asked us what we thought and chatted with him a bit! Great service. Highly recommend.
Amazing food and very kind and friendly staff. I had curry chicken panini with rice. Chicken was very well seasoned and rice cooked very nicely. Also the menu contains a wide variety of foods. I had a nice conversation with the owners too -super nice people. Wish I could try their breakfast too. A must go place if you’re around.
Clean, Comfortable & Delicious. The Customer service was excellent & the food was definitely fresh! The owner & chef greeted us at our table and was very friendly!
Can’t go wrong with any Indian option at Front Street. My personal combo is the goat briyani with mango lassi. The single serving of any briyani feeds two very hungry people or three slightly hungry people. Bob apetit!

An interesting experience. I am older & lived thru the illegal pot days, so going into this was a bit surreal & interesting. Everyone was a great help. Prices are way more than what I was accustomed to. I recommend "highly"..get it?!
Really, really good beer! The Hop On The Bus IPA was by far my favorite, and the Blackberry Blossom sour was good too! I also had the ghost pepper pickles which were only a little spicy but a big portion for $4. Really nice staff and a fun shop in th
We ordered a cake for my sonâs girlfriendâs birthday and it came out beautiful! It was fresh and delicious too! I will definitely use them again when I need a cake!
Excellent food started with slices and canoli ordered again the next day for delivery! The biggest calzone we have seen at 14 inches across with an Greek salad and a canoli of course! Highly recommend this place!
No frills burger joint with surprisingly high quality. We didn't try the ice cream because it was too cold out, but it looked great. Cookies weren't made from scratch, but we'll let that slide. The burger was tasty and properly seasoned. The BLT chic
