I ordered delivery from Frisch's, and won't again. The guy on the other end of the phone had some trouble hearing the numbers, but I was happy to wait patiently and repeated my phone number and card numbers multiple times. I was told 30 minutes.. but an hour later, a woman comes to my door. She says that the man who took my order did not receive the correct card numbers and she needed them again.. and proceeds to step inside of my house (?!), which I am incredibly hesitant to and find extremely inappropriate for a delivery carrier. After an uncomfortable few minutes of her on the phone in my doorway, she looks up and asks if I would like to tip. I said absolutely not! Was flabbergasted she even expected me to pay for what was - shockingly - cold and soggy food. I live a five minute drive away from this restaurant. You ask me? There's better fried chicken and service anywhere ten miles of this place.
We had a family wake at this location in banquet room. Ever thing was delicious the baked fish was to die for. I didn't know had banquet room in back. Very clean and organized. The staff was on the ball and awesome. We will be scheduling our next family function at this place. Will be back for sure. Deserves 5 stars across board. Thank you for making our family's experience a good one. Thank you again.
When travelling though Ohio and Indiana, I’ve come across Frisch’s Big Boy as a chain of restaurants, so every time I drive by this place, I keep wondering if it was part of the same chain, even though it does not have the same look, and certainly there is no Big Boy holding up a burger in front of it! I finally made a point of stopping in one day and can definitively state that this Frisch’s has nothing in common with those Big Boy outlets! This one is a deli. When you enter the place, you are in front of a standard deli counter with assorted cheeses and meats and you can order them cut to your specifications and taken away. If you go beyond that counter, into the next section of the place, you will enter the actual restaurant which has an order counter and a salad bar. Behind the counter there are a series of blackboards listing the various dishes that they offer as well as one whiteboard standing on the counter with the specials. Most of the dishes are deli style, and they offer hot and cold sandwiches. In my case, I decided on a Cajun Chicken Sandwich and was given the option of what toppings I wanted: Selections of cheeses, lettuce, tomato, onions, etc. You can choose to eat at the place or do takeout. In both cases, you pay at the counter and are given a number on a stand. I went and found a seat at one of the indoor tables – there are also two outdoor seating areas. Within a few minutes, one of the employees came by with my sandwich which came accompanied by a pickle and a large handful of potato chips on a paper plate. Paper napkins and any flatware needs to be picked up elsewhere, and when you are done, there are trash bins for you to dump your used paper plate in. In other words, this is a really stripped down operation. The sandwich was reasonable. It was nothing extraordinary or special. Between its ordinariness and the employee’s being very – not surly exactly – but certainly not very cheerful of inviting, I am giving this place a three star rating.
Their broasted "fried" chicken is always very good. It makes a great dinner. They have a large case filled with deli meats and cheeses, and a good assortment of deli salads too. We've been going here for many years and it never disappoints.
We had our daughter’s sunflower themed Bridal Shower Brunch in Frisch’s Banquet Room on June 12, 2022. It was phenomenal! I wish there were more stars to give than only five. Sherry Frisch is a gem to work with.❤️ Goodness knows I flooded her with emails. We decorated the day prior bringing our own linen napkins and charger plates. The brunch menu was fantastic. We received many compliments on not only the food but the venue itself. The Cream Brule French Toast is to die for. The two ladies working the brunch were excellent as well as adorable. I highly recommend Frisch’s Banquet Room for your next important event. Thank you Frisch’s!
My bridal shower was in the back room and everything was absolutely perfect. The room is beautiful and the staff is always so nice and accommodating. I really can't imagine it being any better.
Food was ok. Prices are a little high for what you get. There has to be a better system then one person working the register and taking orders during a lunch rush. Got a piece of cream pie, it was still frozen in the middle.
This is for the dine in part. As a deli it's fine, but the eat in area is very bad. It is a cafeteria with old 80s style fast food benches. Ordering is a pain and half the items don't explain what they are so good luck deciding if you want something "Broasted" or not. Asking what it means got me a "uh it's just how it's prepared" so that was helpful. Plus screaming children, so many and so frequently, and no one will tell them to stop. The food is sort of just... Fine? It's on the poor side of average, certainly not enough to warrant the crazy high reviews I saw for the place. That plus the abysmal atmosphere makes this a take-out at best.
We stopped in for a Saturday lunch and we were not disappointed one bit! This place is such a serene spot to eat at and the food is amazing. I never knew rice could taste so good! Service was amazing and so were the portions. Canât wait to stop he

This restaurant is attached to a bookstore which creates an artsy and cozy atmosphere. The menu from James Beard semifinalist Chef Zozula speaks for itself â I recommend getting something with lamb. Oh, and definitely upgrade the chips to the roast

After trying Pizza Pronto while I was in the hospital 4 months ago, yesterday we traveled over an hour just to have this pizza again! It is so good! Definitely worth the drive. We highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken Pizza or Pierogi Pizza.
