Friendly's - American restaurant in Melbourne - 1011 E Eau Gallie Blvd, USA

Been years, tried again for breakfast. Scramble eggs came out as egg omelet. Flat and overcooked. Bacon was asked to be crispy, came out burnt and broken. Eggs over easy came out with brown crispy edges. Dude cook,,, your grill is to hot. Overall, disappointed. I do not recommend this Friendly's location. Front entry area made it look part shabby.

The food is pretty great and the waiters are always super nice and incredibly swift in my experience. Edit, 8/8/2023: The service is still pretty good overall. However it should be noted that we've since come back a few times and asked for an additional banana for our desserts. They charge an additional $1 for HALF of a banana every single time. Kind of frustrating if you want anything extra added to your dessert orders. Picture is without the banana.

Went for breakfast. Some food burnt, while other was under cooked. Friendly staff, going to give another shot for lunch. Definitely needs a deep clean.

This friendlies was very good. Our server was prompt and courteous. The place was decorated nice and was clean. Had the traditional fribble, which tasted just like it did 20 years ago. Also have the hamburger which was nice and juicy. Had a very nice lunch experience here.

Overall the food was delicious and the service. There was only 1 server and she was super busy running around making sure everyone gets and has what they need. Definitely needs more servers, despite how busy she was she was till attentive to us and made sure we were taken care of.

Great diner style food and with an amazing ice cream menu. You have to get the munchie mania, one of the super melts, and a happy ending Sunday. Reminds me of my childhood and the food tastes the same. One of the last Friendly’s location in Florida I hope it stays open!

Mediocre at best. The menu was atrocious. First of all, they were filthy. Covered in dried food. Gross. The organization of the menu read awful. One page had things on it that you couldnt find in the main part of the menu. The waitress had to get a "menu insert" to make it make sense. I never expected it to be amazing since Friendly's never really was, at least for food anyways. Decent enough but not award winning, which is fine. I knew that. You kinda go for the ice cream anyways. Ice cream is ice cream, can't really mess that up. Or can you?? But getting a sloppy cut apple in my child's meal was very disappointing. The presentation of the food was sloppy. The coleslaw was thrown in the side bowl so carelessly that it fell off the side and into the food. The apple, well, you see the picture, disgraceful. The happy ending sundae for my child was melted and didn't look like a happy face. More like a melting owl. I'm not sure what went wrong with the fries but five orders of fries should come out on five plates. It's not rocket science. We were missing one side of fries and it took awhile to come out. The place wasn't that busy when we showed at all, one other solo customer. They had just gotten done a rush, said the waitress. But the place was dirty and mangled and there were no efforts to clean it up by the staff. The waitress seemed blah. Nice enough but not interested in the job. When we asked for water refills, she came with a pitcher and just left it on the table for me to do myself. We won't be back. It's a shame. We wanted to share a spot from our childhood with our kids and it was disappointing. And I didn't even have that high of expectations at all.

I’ve been coming to this Friendly’s since I was a kid and nothing beats the service here. The staff is incredibly kind and always goes above & beyond. The food is always great and the ice cream is even better. Very family friendly and a great place for a good comfort meal and some smiles!
