Friendly Tavern - Bar in Redington Shores - 18121 Gulf Blvd, USA

Staff was very friendly. The food was sub par. Nachos were ok. No gluten free buns and the Pina colada was terrible. Not sure if it was a poor mix of a very awful coconut flavored rum, but we couldn't even finish it.

We had an amazing experience here. I had the Classic Club + tots , and my girlfriend had the BLT + fries. Everything was DELICIOUS. But let me tell you, THE TOTS .... THE TOTS. I've never had tots cooked so perfectly. There was literally nothing special about them other than they were cooked so incredibly perfectly. Also, The waiter was so nice and even asked some locals if they could recommend a local coffee shop to us ( cause he wasn't a coffee drinker). 10/10 recommend lunch here.

Outside bartenders are VERY RUDE especially Friday girls a few weeks back. Spent more time throwing out and barking at customers yelling “Don’t come back!!” Because they weren’t tipped enough. I waited over 9 minutes for my second miller lite with very few customers. And then an angry bitter old man, a customer, chimed in. It was the most ridiculous and the most awkward uncomfortable situation I’ve experienced sitting at a beach bar. Extremely unprofessional. No customer service what’s so ever. Apparently one of them is a Manager. Scary! So clueless but thinks who she is. Then had the audacity to plop these burnt sad a** uncrab-stuffed mushrooms in front of me. In what world…? Good luck with all that.. you need it. Definitely won’t be back.

Great atmosphere. Fun place to watch a game. Great bar food. However, I do not recommend breakfast. This place is not your best option, with several better choices on that same stretch of road. Will say good Bloody Mary and coffee.

First and last time there, and I really wanted to like this place. We moved here three months ago and I’ve been trying different places near our house. It took a half hour to get our food and it was mediocre at best. We got the burrito that said it had lettuce and tomato in it, which was almost impossible to find and it was cold. I ordered the baked grilled cheese, which sounded really good and asked for bacon on it. When it came out, the cheese wasn’t even melted. The sandwich was not grilled. It was two pieces of toast with two thin slices of cheese with some tomato and spinach. I told the waitress that I had ordered bacon. She told me she didn’t hear me. She took it back and came out and told me that he put it in the oven. The cheese was still not melted and she never asked me if I wanted to add the bacon , I told my husband this was drunk people food. People get a buzz and then they don’t care how good the food is. True but sad 😞

This place has really gone down hill. Can someone please do us all locals a favor and sell this bar to someone that actually knows how to run a business? I mean the potential is incredible but the food, staff and service is all trash now. Parking lot is always empty. No one ever goes there any more. What was once a cool locals spot has been disparaged by a penny pinching owner who turns customers away constantly by his terrible attitude. News flash- it’s not us it’s YOU! Sell this place and turn it over to someone that ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT WANTING THEIR CUSTOMERS TO ENJOY THEMSELVES!! 0 stars! Get it together!

We came to dinner Saturday night and have been coming here for a long time. It was freezing in the dining area. I first ordered the stuffed mushrooms and was told they were out of the stuffing. I then ordered a Rueben that came on white bread with clumps of meat. Absolutely horrible! We also had onion rings and tater tots where the grease obviously hadn’t been changed in forever! This place used to be top notch but isn’t anymore! Even changed the breakfast bagels so breakfast is no longer edible! Over the years it was amazing but unfortunately will probably be out of business soon if something doesn’t change. Very sad.

Nice server. Food was average at best. (They were out of most everything.) The biggest reason for the poor review was the drunk guy who they did nothing about. Loud yelling across the room. Then, when he didn't get the attention he wanted, he wandered around to all the tables, interrupting others.
