Friendly Hills Inn Whittier - Motel in Whittier - 14329 Whittier Blvd, USA

We had a generously sized room with two queen beds, a table with 2 chairs, still leaving room to walk around, with plenty of storage room. Shower was also spacious. All decor and fixtures were updated and fresh. Room was very quiet, even when at full occupancy. Very comfortable beds, pillows and bedding. There were 4 pillows on each bed to start! No need to ask for extras! Perfect accommodations!

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. The vacation itself was awful but the hotel manager was an ANGEL. When we had a late night incident he called to check in and he even checked the cameras for us. He made sure we all made it back to our room safe. The room was clean and nice. It was the perfect size for my friend and I, but may seem small if you wanted something more luxurious. When I travel I only care that my room is clean and the area is safe and that was met in addition to the care by management. Thank you so much. Will definitely come back when we need to stay near the Buena Vista area.

We came to Whittier to visit family, and this place was pretty close to them. It looks like a motel that was upgraded to be more like a hotel. The room we had (208) was tidy, beds made, cleaned well, and was cozy. We stayed one night. The shower pressure was better than more expensive hotels. I loved the flooring they chose to use. I'd stay again.

Rooms look nice but are not cleaned well. My comforter was dirty, and some parts of the room were as well. There is a strict no visitor rule, the front desk lady was very rude when explaining this rule. They will kick you with no refund for anything. I wouldn't stay at this place unless less I truly had to again. They asked for a bunch of personal information that no hotel neess to know. The lock on my door was broken

This is a very good basic motel, clean and well set up. No room service. They clean the rooms every two or three days, but you can ask for clean towels every day. Very good mattresses on bed. Parking is a little tight if the motel is full. Whittier is a very pleasant town.

the manager at the front desk was nice and helpful (I believe owner too), room was updated, clean and overall comfy! I stayed an extra night and it was easy to add another night. Definitely my go to place to stay at when I come back to LA.

Booked online because of good ratings here. Room 202, dried coffee or dried Coke all over the sink, dried crud in the soap dish, clump of red hair in bathtub near the drain, black curly hair in the middle edge of the bathtub. No wash clothes, 1/2 roll of toilet paper on the roller 1/8 of a roll of toilet paper on top of the toilet tank. Signs posted at office clearly says " no refunds"...I received an email the next morning asking about my visit....I replied with these complaints....no response after 1 day plus...so I am posting this review here. ||I would have changed rooms, but sign saying no vacancy was on after I registered and got the room card key.||I travel for business regularly, and this was a nasty / dirty room. ||Rooms were hard to find, during spring break, so really no other options except for other places with horrible reviews. ||I used a hand towel as a wash cloth. The racket coming from the hvac blower was too loud to sleep with it turned on. ||I do leave great reviews when I experience good service. This review is totally accurate unfortunately.||I can figure out how to post pictures here, or I would have.
