Frick Park Tavern - Restaurant in Pittsburgh - 1100 S Braddock Ave, USA

Absolutely recommend. It’s casual but also a bit classy. The bar is beautiful and the drinks are amazing. We also ordered food in the dining room and it was also amazing. Buffalo cauliflower was GREAT and the wedge salad was fantastic. It was a special so it may not be there when you go. Chicken parm was delicious and the pesto pasta was so good. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Why in the world would you have a special New Years menu and then tell us upon seating us at 8:30 that the kitchen closes in 30 minutes and it's last call for drinks and kick us out before 11? Maybe next you'll have a Super Bowl party and call last call at half time? Food was good and the people and atmosphere were very pleasant but man, FIGURE IT OUT. Our party was dressed up and ready to spend and have a good time, we would have spent 300 more dollars on champagne and cocktails if you wanted the business. And we weren't the only nicely dressed group being shuffled out onto Braddock Ave with nowhere to go that night either!

Nice food and a nice atmosphere. There's a dining room and a bar, and it was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday night. It's not a big place, I imagine it would have a wait on the weekends so book ahead. The "tonight's toast" is a good appetizer if you want something light, though pricey for what it is.

Frick Park Tavern is a little gem of a restaurant in Pittsburgh. The inside decor is comforting and welcoming, the ambience is great. I have been about three times and everything I have ordered has been delicious. My only complaint is some of the dishes can feel a little too “butter rich” and lack an acidic component to balance out the richness of oil/butter they use. Also, their website to make reservations is not mobile friendly. Their cocktails are amazing, I highly recommend the Henry Frick! If you’re looking for a low key restaurant in Pittsburgh with good food and good ambience, you should definitely try it!

What a beautiful place to eat, my first time in Pittsburgh and we decided to roll on by this place to get some dinner and I was beyond satisfied. The service was fantastic, the employees were all amazing with a great sense of humor and the food.... Goodness that food was amazing! I would highly recommend the Frick Park Tavern to anyone looking for a higher end restaurant.

My fiance and I come here regularly. And lately Nina has been our good experience. More specifically we spent my mother’s birthday here and she was great. I was a bartender/server for 12 years and I know how unforgiving the service industry can be but she’s a pro. Cheerful, smiley, attentive, 10/10. We look forward to seeing her when we come here now. Oh and Kelly….THE BEST. Kelly and Nina need raises. They are an absolute asset to this restaurant. Love it so much here. Happy New Year FPT! <3

Frick Park Tavern is a excellent addition to Regent Square. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, the selection has something for everyone and the service is amazing. As a craft beer drinker, the selection, while not vast, included local breweries and styles to cover all your tastes for a meal.

would give 0 stars if was an option because this place earned it. Ordered a salmon salad was served a raw piece of fish, asked them to re cook it 2 mins later the same salad comes back with the same mangled fish I had cut into now has been "refried". They took the uncooked fish off the salad and "re cooked" it and put it back on top of the same salad making everything taste like raw fish. Also charged full price for this, will never go back and make sure to let all my friends know not to go here either. If you have something on the menu should make sure you know how to cook and serve it, thank you Frick Park Tavern for ruining my dinner and appetite for the rest of the night.
