Truly an Awe-inspiring vatange point on Staten Island from a whole New prospective ... We always looked West from the Mall and high points on the island towards the other side of Fresh kills,..now a fresh new view and pleasant walkway from 350 Wild Avenue. Ample parking is available... just don't cut through the Old L.A. fitness parking area (it is blocked off). The view of the river from the Observatory and the pier are exceptional and a must-see!!!
They had free bikes and a bike path almost 4 miles long. Very scenic and beautiful---great for taking pictures. I can't wait until they finish the park!
Really nice place to ride a bike and explore. The park is not entirely opened yet. When I went there was supposed to be a guided birding tour, but it ended up being an "explore" yourself kind of a day which I didn't expect.
Rode my bike from Brooklyn and took the ferry to check this place out. It was a great little day trip. I don’t really know how to rate the park, as it is a really bizarre place. In any sense it’s amazing that they could turn a landfill into fields of tall grass so big you feel like you’re lost in Kansas somewhere. The air does smell fresh, but there were some concerning things. For example, there was rust colored runoff throughout the park. I was told by a park attendant that this comes from the minerals which help decompose the garbage. Anyway, I was here over a year ago so the photos are old but definitely check this place out if you get the opportunity.
The beauty! The flat bike trails! A really nice place to cycle or if you are a member of the Audubon, to see native birds. Looking forward to greater lengths of trails opening!
I'm an RV traveler and love getting out of the city , Hudson Valley, Chesapeake Bay etc . Freshkill park and the sister park Brookfield KILL IT ...
Right here in Staten Island
Great park for biking, amazing that this was the largest land fill in the world
Beautiful views of Raritan Bay from trails of Conference Park. You can make different loops by combining beach trail with paved trails of the park. Ample parking near visitor center.
Beautiful public park on Staten Island consisting of 3 main lakes. Lots of wildlife to spot - birds, fish, squirrels. Playgrounds and ball fields throughout. Great place to enjoy nature.
Pleasant and quiet park lots of grass to run around, exercise equipment, basketball courts, sprinklers. Nicely rebuild a year or two ago. Modern well-maintained bathroom.
This place was very cool. I had no idea it was even here. We walked up to it and thereâs a sign to ring the doorbell. You need to be let in the front door. We were greeted by a very nice man who welcomed us in. It was free to enter, but they have a

At Jodyâs, I experience great food and they let you write on their chalk board. The food is phenomenal. The waiters and waitresses are kind and get to know you. I recommend the Mary Jane wings. My go to happy environment. Also, say hi to Mozie. â
We went there for lunch and were the only visitors at that time. The service was very nice and the food was amazing. We had the lasagna and a greek salad with apples and pears. Portion size is really big as well. If you ever visit Staten Island, make
Had my daughters 2nd birthday party here and had an amazing time! The manager and hostesses Jamie and Dora were absolutely amazing and helpful. From communicating with the coordinator months in advance (and dealing with all my questions) to cleaning

*Not to be a missed place in NYC*. The moment you enter, you feel like you are in a museum, it is very very beautiful adorned with Sri Lankan artifacts. The place looks and smells great. Itâs not spacious and that makes it cozy, there might be arou
This place has such a serene energy. The man working at the front was very kind. They have such a nice collection of furniture and statues. You can get through the entire thing in about 10 minutes. It is free to enter, but there is a donation box by
This is the best place I could take my 3 year old.
