We have been to Fresh Coast twice. The first time the middle of October of 2023 and than again for New Years Eve. When we came back on 12/30/23 and walked inside the the Aurora Suite it was like coming home. The Sauna on site is awesome and a must do if you come. You will not be disappointed you came to stay here. There are many things in the area to do to keep you busy. No need for a TV in your cabin or room. If the sky's are clear at night you might just see the Northern Lights dancing over Lake Superior. What a beautiful site.

We reserved the suite months ahead of our trip. The owners made it very easy to move in for the three days and had many helpful suggestions. The suggestions covered hiking, biking and other nice events. There are a limited choices for restaurants and they were very delightful. The three restaurants had surprising wine list and lots of fresh fish. The suite we stayed in is as nice as many apartments-two bedrooms, beautiful kitchen amazing windows to view the Northern Lights from the warmth of the suite. Fresh Coast Cabins are as close to the water as possible. Which makes viewing the sunsets every night spectacular. The bonfire night was great to enjoy some wine and fellowship of other campers. The front porch is so pleasant. A nice fireplace and table to have some food. There were some campers making their return from the last 10-15 years. This is not a place for people who cannot disconnect from the world. I had a day of nervousness without my electronics. When we travel, we love being in least traveled places. This place is doomed to be so busy and highly attended in the near future. You must stay at Fresh Coast Cabins before the rest of the world discovers this jewel.

Fresh Coast is great! I can say that not only was the property gorgeous, our cabin was out of this world (Aurora Major). And the real deal-maker was Lynn and Jason - the absolute best and most hospitable hosts. They interacted with us and were very easy to work with. It’s definitely worth it to stay if your are looking for some place special in the Keweenaw! THANK YOU - C&C!

You'll find nothing short of perfection in the Aurora Major suite at Fresh Coast Cabins. We were SO thrilled to snag a stay in this gorgeous suite overlooking Lake Superior as part of our annual trip to the Keweenaw. The owners of Fresh Coast have thought of all the finest luxuries and finishes in this comfortable oasis, including a soaking tub, waterfall shower, fully equipped chefs kitchen, large windows for stargazing and luxury linens in all the rooms. Our only complaint is we can't move in as permanent residents ;) We were also lucky to time our trip just right so we could enjoy their newest addition to the property: Superior Steam! This luxury, spa-like sauna experience is a must-do for your stay — it is the epitome of relaxation. Make sure to take a plunge in Lake Superior in between sauna warm-ups for a truly authentic experience. Thank you, Lynn + Jason for the most incredible stay!

Fresh Coast Cabins was a great getaway spot! The cabin was cozy and clean, lots of cute touches. The amenities were spot on. The knives in the kitchen were sharp, charcoal/utensils for the grill & a shaker for our margaritas amongst other comforts. The view is incredible! If you love the outdoors and want to spend time on the rock hunting shores of Lake Superior, this is the spot for you. FCC is close to all the fun things to do in the Keewanau Peninsula and the cabin owners wrote an adventurer's guide to all the great local places to help you decide which ones are right for you. I highly recommend and am already planning my next stay up there!!

Wow! We were blown away by how beautiful Cabin 3 is and the view was dreamy. Dreamy, beyond what we could have expected. We were greeted with a delicious gift basket with local goodies. The cabin was meticulously remodeled down to every detail. I usually pass on using provided soaps and products and use my own but the products in this cabin were luxurious. When staying in an older cabin usually I worry about water pressure and temperature but we had strong water pressure with nice warm water. Even the spare toilet paper rolls were cute (seriously how is that possible?) Our kitchen appliances and dishes were new and classy. We were surprised with a record player and classic vinyl that we listened to next to the fire while watching the stars and waves out the sitting room windows. Our bed was very comfortable with quality bedding and even a weighted blanket and sound machine, which we ended up not needing because we opened the window and listened to the waves all night. The storage in the bedroom helped keep our things neat and out of the way. The grill was clean and grill supplies were ready to go. Nothing was overlooked in this gorgeous remodel in the most amazing location. We enjoyed the suggestions in the book on where to explore and hike. We just need more time to explore the area. It was the perfect combination of luxury and rustic. It’s just a quick drive to get cell service and check in at home if necessary and so relaxing not to have our phones on. The Fresh Coast Cabins team’s service was excellent and thoughtful. We will definitely return and continue exploring the area!

A very clean, simple living place that allowed us to disconnect from media and reconnect with the sounds of nature. The cabins are all so close to Lake Superior you could fall asleep to the sound of the water as waves crashed along the shore, and wake to the sound of wind in the trees and the surprise of a calm lake with little wave action. The communal campfire allowed us to meet people who pointed out a string of satellites as they crossed the sky and the owner helped us take great photos of the Northern Lights! We highly recommend this location, and it is very easy to find right on M-26 (but very little road noise as everyone drives slowly on the very curvy road.

The night sky- stars! Sunrise and Sunset 🤩 Peace and tranquility. The UP of Michigan is a treasure to say the least and Fresh Coast Cabins allowed us to explore with all the resting comforts we strive for. Grilling out each evening afforded us a beautiful view of Lake Superior- the Greatest Lake of all. The night sky is most magical and we were sure to be back by sunset to enjoy the show. Jason and Lynn have made this coastal cabin retreat one that we will look forward to enjoy in the future!
