Smooth coffee. It was like silk!!!! Croissants were light and flaky. Absolutely delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Prices are a tad on the high side but you get quality in return so it's justified. Ambiance is wonderful. This place is literally a hidden gem.
Delicious pastries and lattes! I had the Brown Sugar iced latte and my husband had the Cinnamon Roll latte. Both were good! The cherry & cream cheese pastry was amazing. Would recommend.
Recommend if you’re not in a hurry and want a peaceful atmosphere. They seem to be short staffed right now, so it’s a bit of a wait on Saturday morning, and they were already sold out of most of their food items by 10:30am. The croissant was really flaky but felt a little undercooked in the center. They have a lot of coffee flavors for such a small menu, which I liked. Their sandwich portions are really big.
We tried the dark chocolate peanut butter croissant and almond croissant. Both were okay, the almond wasn't as flaky as we'd anticipated and there was barely any almond paste filling inside.
Staff is incredibly pleasant and all the bakery items are scratch made. Restaurant is clean and calming. Not a noisy coffee bar. Very wonderful experience.
I first must say I reviewed the fresh baked in Brookfield. I gave it one star because they where closed during their normal hours they posted . We decided to give the one in elm grove a try . To be honest I wanted to not enjoy the pastries because I was so put off about my experience with the first visit . Fortunately for me everything was excellent. We purchased seven different pastries to sample and all where very impressive!! I brought back fond memories of visiting cafes in Europe. We all where blown away with buttery and delicate the croissants. I am immediately removing my previous review.
Amazing artisan coffee's. Beautiful, tasty baguettes and croissants. Lovely atmosphere to sit, visit & enjoy the treats! 😊
