Fresh and Friendly Seafood Market - Seafood restaurant in Carver - 145 S Main St, USA

I love this place. I always get the clam chowder and steamers (cooked on-site). I have usually gone here at least once a week since moving to Carver, and I have never had a bad meal.

Amazingly fresh! We are usually loyal to Woods Seafood, but this is our new favorite, the food wasn't saturated in fry oil... it was fresh, and delicious! I couldn't even get photos fast enough before the kids started eating it.

I think this place used to be good but lately I find the quality has really taken a dive, I got the lobster roll,fish cake, stuffed quahog and lobster bisque all was good but the lobster roll was tiny for $24 and had the consistency of a rinsed out sponge with the occasional squeaking against my teeth yuck, and the potatoes were garbage along with the fries they offer $47

Just amazing 🤩 😋 Feels like your pulling into an old tyme movie set lol. Amazing staff -I called a half an hour until close. As I was beaching it I wanted some fish and usually go to Woods- but didn’t want to deal with parking and not down for the ride from Carver- found this gem! Yummy fish and chips with a bowl of clam chowdah just over $20 bucks! Not only did they take my order and it was fantastic. They were kind fifteen minutes before closing-hands down class! Great Take out! No seating. It was so good crispy- And gone. I usually like tarter sauce with lemon. This Fish was So good -with just the (juiciest ever) lemon. The fries needed something and I forgot to ask for ketchup-Tartar to the rescue. The slaw was Nice- light and not overMayod. I asked for everything (because I hate when it’s not in the bag) ie. silverware, napkins, sauce, And the coleslaw - it was all in the bag. Next time I’ll get two slaws! Stopped and grabbed a picnic table at Sawyers Avenue and devoured this yummy meal. Enjoy!!! 😉

I ordered the seafood platter which was excellent, cooked to perfection with a light batter, wife ordered steamers which were great, no sand or anything, I'd give it 10 out of 10. We also brought home 2 quahogs and 2 seafood stuffed mushrooms, can't wait to eat for supper.

Oh my goodness. I cannot believe how good the shrimp tacos were! This place is to die for. I will definitely be back!

Updated review. The amount of fish on the fish sandwich gets smaller everytime I go, it's no longer worth ordering imo. The fresh and friendly seafood market certainly lives up to its name. The seafood in the case all looked to be very good quality the lobsters were alive and kicking. I picked up an order of fish and chips to go and I was not disappointed. Quality was very good, portion size was acceptable and price was reasonable. I will most definitely return.

Took a ride down Rt 58 for lunch yesterday. I got the blackened salmon, mango salsa bowl over rice. Delicious!!! I highly recommend them. Very friendly staff as well.
