We went there early evening to see our grandson perform in a play. He attends a drama class there and it was adorable. The coaches are very patient and sweet. I'm looking forward to the Christmas show. The building is beautiful. Wish I could have seen more, of the outside, but it was dark.
A fantastic park. Great hiking trails and beautiful scenery. Love the bridge they put in over the stream, now I can finally explore the rest of the park
Excellent , but be warned if you are not an expert and/or have a heavy ebike- this might be a dangerous endeavour. Some of the bike trails aren't much wider than the 4" fatties on your bike to begin with. Be careful!!! But enjoy.
I was there for a seminar inside the building. I have no idea where the park and trails are located. I didn't notice anything from the building parking lot. Inside was ok. The instructor had the lights off in the room from when we walked in. She said it was the only way we could see the screen for the presentation. I would have at least expected the lights on during introduction and after the prevention was shown. The second half of the seminar was to meet people (& dogs) that are already part of the seminar program.
Grew up in Monmouth County my whole life! This park is 1000% a hidden gem. The trails are great and the park itself is so clean and so well kept!

Beautiful destination for the Environmental Science field trip. Excellent hands on activities for the high schoolers. Knowledgeable staff and interactive learning.
This is still a relatively new park in the Monmouth County system. It's already a nice place for a walk in the woods, but it needs some fixing up. They will either have to preserve or demolish some of the buildings around the main parking lot that do not look so great at this time. My hope is that they fix them up and maybe make an interpretive center. The future looks bright, and maybe I will be able to give this place 5 stars in a few years.
