What a delightful place to stay. From the warm welcome when we arrived, we felt at home. The cottage room was a good size, beautifully decorated and dressed, the huge bed was soooo comfortable. Breakfast was huge and delicious, and we had great conversations over breakfast the two mornings we were there. If you’re staying and unsure about the additional cost for breakfast.. just do it! It’s more than worthy.

An absolute delight to stay at the Freedom house .. I was greeted with smiles and felt like I was stepping into my own home. They were so accommodating for breakfast for to my allergies .. my room was perfect for a overnight stop over , quaint, private bathroom and the most amazing bed for sleeping .. for breakfast we had delicious baked apple with yogurt and pecans , than blueberry pancakes with bacon & sausage .. the other guests also had scrambled eggs (I did not due to allergy) I highly recommend Freedom House

Loved our stay here. Stayed in the cottage apartment mainly because it had a living room in addition to the bedroom and we’d been on the road awhile and needed to be able to spread out. The cute kitchen was a bonus. Loved the decor in this room. Bed very comfortable, nice bedding, plush towels and everything clean. This is an old home so the steps up to the cottage apartment are steep. The host and hostess are very kind (Elizabeth went out of her way to juggle things to make this room possible for us) and breakfast is fabulous.

Just returned from a two night stay at the Freedom House B and B in Dover Foxcroft Maine. I had a wedding to attend in nearby Sangerville and found this property after an internet search. A very nice couple own this picturesque property in a lovely little town. I stayed in the smallest room (#3) in the cottage and it worked for me. When I arrived I thought there was a package of potpourri on the pillow, but was pleased to find out it was two cookies! The body wash and shampoo smell great, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were very soft. Plus there was plenty of hot water for my shower. I added the breakfast and when I couldn't finish it the proprietor gave me a take home container. I would definitely recommend.

Absolutely wonderful little gem of a B&B. The hosts are very pleasant and the accommodations are lovely and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and lovingly made. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My family of 5 needed a place to crash before white water rafting. This home is spotless and beautiful! Very comfortable and the owners are very kind!|My kids loved the cookies - we all loved the space! Fun to walk to the movie theater. I do not recommend Chew62 for dinner - stay away from there but stay at this house!

Freedom House B&B was a great place to stay! Room was quaint, breakfast was delish and the owners and other guests were very nice and personable. Loved our stay!!

I wish I’d taken pictures of the beautifully appointed rooms and the spectacular breakfasts—!—but I’ll try to paint that picture as best I can with words. Incredible. This was so much more than we’d even expected. So much thought is put into every aspect and you really have everything you need and more for an extremely comfortable stay. It is a beautiful and perfectly suited cohesive style atheistic from the outside to inside. The bed is unbelievably comfortable and all of the rooms have the comfort and information you could want and need, including the well appointed kitchen and restroom. It’s also a wonderful plus that they are a pet welcoming and friendly establishment. As for the breakfasts—I barely have the words to convey how spectacularly wonderful these were; truly impressive, sumptuous, and utterly scrumptious. We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend to friends and family.
