It is a beautiful quiet park. It is nice place for a walk after work... ..or to walk your pets. I have not had any issues with this park. Everyone is frendly and/or just tend to their own business. The inside basketball court is amazing. The restroom was clean. It is right next to an apartment complex, but it's pretty decent. Those are the reasons I gave it five stars and would totally recommend this park
Clean and friendly park. The workers are helpful and all the random people I've met have been nice. Facility is supposedly getting a facelift soon.
I went there a lot during my childhood since my mother would take me and my brother to play there. I recall they had swings and some wooden & metal structure (can't recall exactly but it was bit like a mini fort, but it's not there anymore) that I would play in with my brother and other friends. When I became a teenager, a lady friend informed me that this is the same park where a dating couple were murdered (the boyfriend was beheaded and the girlfriend was shot; he was 18 and she was 16). Those murders happened back in late 1979, not sure why they happened but different stories I heard were gang related, drug related or a serial killer. The park looks a lot better now and I would gamble that today it's a lot safer there (reason: this thing going called "gentrification" in Spring Branch). Lots of new super-expensive homes sprouting up everywhere in that area.
Great neighborhood park. Very, very safe, police reports no crime in park for past 4 years and no violent crime ever.
Wonderful for young kids, youth sports practice. Good trail for walking dogs or exercise.
Harris County does the maintenance on this park and they do a good job of keeping this park safe and clean.
Please pick up after your pets.

Park is clean & open to the public. Very quiet even on the weekends. Volleyball, soccer field, baseball field, and children playground in upkeep conditions.

This park is behind the courthouse! Iâm sure a lot of people confuse turning into North Shore Park but just know you enter as if youâre going to the courthouse :) very spacious and a lot of shade! This park is mainly tailored for toddlers-5 year
This is a very clean and quiet park to walk in the mornings. Friendly people. I enjoy it very much. Has water fountains for you and your pets too. Staff drives around picking up trash. And they keep up with the grass as well.
