Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers - Fast food restaurant in Van Buren - 1906 Fayetteville Rd, USA

Good food and quick service. Pretty much everything we have tried has been good. Patty melts are a greasy but awesome. Good fries and ice cream as well. This location has gotten a lot better over time. All the servers we have dealt with have been super polite.

This used to be one of my favorite places. Last time I went there the people were wonderful but the food was not that great. Inflation makes it really difficult to run a restaurant. Quality has to go down; prices have to go up; or new suppliers have to be found (some local restaurants have turned to Keys in Van Buren or Rice Family Farms in Rudy to get great meat at more affordable prices). I'm hoping that Freddy's will be great again soon.

We've always had good service and good food. Tried the onion rings this last visit and they were delicious. In our experience our food has always been hot and fresh. We have found Freddy's to be pretty consistent regarding the food and service.

This place is poppin after church on Sunday! Very good burger and strawberry shake in a very kid friendly atmosphere.

Good place. Good food. Great service. This particular visit the A/C was messed up so it was pretty warm dinning in, but not too bad. Had issues with redeeming a reward and the staff and manager were great with helping getting it resolved. Place was clean too.

The food was tasty although very messy. We used forks and knives to eat our burgers. The key lime shake was very good, but it wasn't ready until we were halfway through the rest of our meal. The cashier, although nice enough, was completely incapable of correctly taking our order, and even with the help of another person, both bugers were wrong. We did not return them because we didn't have enough time to go through the process a second time. I would suggest a training program be put in place and have a capable manager on duty to oversee the restaurant conditions.

The larger woman running the front ignored me when I walked up to get my custard. She did seem busy, but at least in California even if staff are busy somewhere they are at least supposed to ask for a moment and acknowledge you are there. She kept walking past me and didn't say anything. Had to ask the taller skinny guy on his BREAK if he knew what was going on, so he got up and had to basically tell her himself. Kinda a weird experience as far as service. The burger was alright. The custard is really amazing, has a better texture than ice cream and a better older fashioned vanilla flavor. The custard was good enough that if I ever see another Freddie's I'd stop by, despite the weird service experience.

Such a cute place with a fun vibe. Tasty, but different food. Not your typical burger. It kinda made me think of a scrapple burger.
