Freddy’s Haunts - Haunted house in Aliquippa - 192 McCune Rd, USA

I gave it 4 stars, because it definitely could have had more actors. The few that they did have were really good though. Maybe it was because we went on a Sunday. It could have been my favorite, but it's definitely top 5. I love how you get a number, so you can eat or just enjoy the bonfire while you wait for it to be called. You could definitely get stuck in the maze for awhile. Definitely want to go back, on a Friday or Saturday. May have to edit my review then. Another thing that I didn't like, they grouped us with a couple who kept stopping at every set up to discuss it. Plus they were drunk maybe and obnoxious. We had 4 people and there weren't many people waiting. So why group us with any one at all. They made it unpleasant, until we just stopped and let them go ahead. It was fun after that.

I want to start out by saying I have worked at and reviewed haunted houses for 16 years. Freddy’s Haunts is the BEST. I love this haunt so much for its retro feel, sense of community, and size. It has actual mazes (you will get lost) and unique props that you won’t see at the self-proclaimed “best” attractions. The sense of Halloween spirit was incredibly strong with every interaction we had or set we saw. Don’t let the outside fool you, the place is a labyrinth and very cool once you’re in there. Freddy’s, if you ever want photography done I would love to come out and take photos of your place for you guys. Thank you for this authentic haunted house experience. This is something I’ve always been looking for. I can’t wait until the next time I come back.

Actors/ actresses were great. Got a few scares. Walk through was long enough for the wait. I like how they call group numbers that way you could freely walk around instead of waiting in line. Definitely worth the money.

Highly recommend checking this place out!!! Especially if your a old dark ride fan like myself. The sets here are immaculate and make you feel like your in the old mill from kennywood. Actors all stayed in character and were amazing mod way has more then enough to keep someone entertained while waiting to enter their demise took about 30 minutes to walk threw but with the tight corridors dense fog and disorienting lights it feels much longer well worth the price will definitely be back again

We really enjoyed it. Fire & DJ were great extras while waiting. The black out maze part was crazy fun. Raining when we were there, but lots of tent space to stand under and stay dry. Guys walking around in costume were entertaining too.

Exciting haunt definitely in the back woods... this review will give good and bad , based on being a haunt owner and enthusiasts for 40+ years. This haunt is off the beaten track, plenty of parking , cost at $18 is more than reasonable. Clowns chasing children running into people , running saws wide open in people's faces...uneven floors throughout, and not being set up to code for emergency exits... I really liked the set up outside with the firepit, owner took time to make catacombs, build scenes like an old house, cowboy/saloon and more, animated jump scares and a few sets that stood out... the duration could be 30min to an hour or more... The maze is nice but needs a different Strategy.. Tied for best so far this season .

After reading reviews I was really excited to visit this haunt only to be extremely disappointed. No.1 was not easy to get too, I even went with people who go there yearly and we almost got lost cause we missed the turn. Some signage would've helped on the dark back roads in the hills of PA. Parking was spacious and had a potty close by. We got tickets on site and a number for our group to wait by the bonfire. They had a snack bar that had nice options and a small photo op. Now I'm a fan of a nice fire but with no barriers to keep guests at a safe distance their fire made me nervous oh how haphazardous they built it. They would put several pallettes on at a time (like 6 to 7 at once), the wind was pretty bad and would kick up which sent flames extremely close to guests and it even popped something which almost got someone. The amount of small children and the ability to drink on premises with an unprotected fire and no safety was very alarming. The haunt itself was large and did have a decent maze. Some sets were nice but it would get real tight in places, lots of bare wood, loose props and screws caught people in our group. Most of the actors were children (from young teens to 7/8 year olds) with a few adults (the adults that were in there were very good). With no security on site there was no management of other guests. My group and I were going at a good, steady pace when we entered a tight dark hallway with hanging pipes when another group and the actor ran into me (I was at the end of the group). I was EXTREMELY upset being a haunt actor and a person with chronic back pain. I yelled at them to stop running but eventually let the other group go ahead cause they wanted to trash talk that we were going slow. The haunt did a good job pacing groups, no reason for that group to run into me like they did unless they were running the entire time. That same group, we met back up with in the dark maze, only be blinded by them with their cell phone lights. No security stopped them or checked on me so my experience was completely ruined by lack of handling of other guests not following the rules. This haunt was extremely lacking on safety so enter at your own risk because I will not be returning. Very disappointing. 1 stars for nice snack bar, large haunt with some cool stuff I've never seen but lack of good actors and safety/security really bombed this review.

One reviewer on here mentioned this is similar to the Old Mill at Kennywood, and I would agree with them! There weren’t too many jumpscares here but they were spaced out perfectly that they always caught me off guard. I wasn’t sure how long it would take to get through the haunt, but it definitely lasted longer than expected which is a huge bonus! A lot of detail goes into every scene. I normally am not a fan of mazes, but I loved this maze!
