Fred Rose Lakeshore Park - Park in Hobart - 400 Lake Shore Dr, USA

Great place to be for walking dogs, fishing, walking, jogging, small picnics, ect...

The park is off a normal path, I've lived here 40 years and just found out about it, no signs off Wisconsin St.The trail is a real nice walk around parts of the lake that you normally wouldn't see. You can tell it's spring the grass and flowers are starting to break threw the leaves. It's a great walk, peaceful.

Eight acres of mostly White Oak Trees. Asphalt paved walkway "loop" through the park. Very peaceful walk with birds chirping about. Nice area for a quiet stroll, Dog walk or fishing. Many people fish this area with many "favorite" spots. You'll see turtles "sunning" in the spring, Birds like: Bluebird, Woodpeckers, Robins (Duh) and Orioles as well as a variety of Nut Hatches and sea Gulls. You may even see a Bald Eagle flying by or an Egret or Heron "fishing". Small "Tot" playground and even a Pavilion with grill. Spring and summer wild-flowers abound.

Great place to go kayaking.

I live right around the corner from Fred rose park it's a great relaxing place to take a quiet walk with your family your family or maybe even throw the line at and catch a fish beautiful love it

Beautiful spot to walk around or just sit & enjoy the peace and quiet.

I come here to jog around the "track", however it needs to be resurfaced badly. The park is dangerous, old, and unused. Fred Rose is a waste of good space in Hobart.

It's a nice park with a trail that goes to lake George. Great for fishing, has some tables and a playground as well.
