Fred Astaire Dance Studio Marlboro is the best place for Ballroom Dancing lessons! The dance instructors are truly professional and very knowledgeable. They will bring out the best in you. A big shout out to my instructor, Jose and alternate instructor, Jhodar, for helping me become a better dancer. Group classes are fun with Alberto. The owners, Devyn and Cristian, are supportive and thoughtful with their students. Felicia, the front desk lady, always welcomes everyone with a smile. Dancing at Fred Astaire Marlboro has been such a great experience for me. I've met new friends who share the same passion with me in dancing. We started at Fred Astaire Marlboro in October of 2021 to reconnect and spend time together. Thinking we had 2 left feet, we thought this would be a short lived experience. But instead, the instruction, the extreme patience and encouragement from our instructor, Jojo, we’ve been learning so much and have competed in several events and making progress. If you're looking to improve your ballroom dancing skills or even just learn to move your feet, look no further than this incredible dance studio! The instructors Jojo, Jose, Christian, Devyn and Alberto are truly exceptional - they're knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging, and they're always happy to help you perfect your technique. The studio is transformative. You walk through the door and the day is behind you. You get to work with award winning instructors who teach not only the steps but the passion and emotion of dance. As a married couple of 35 years the past year with them has done more to strengthen our marriage than anything else ( except our church and faith). There is a genuine sense of caring by the instructors which is also seen in all of the students as well. Went there to take a few dance lessons and doors were opened that we never knew existed. Exceedingly beyond our expectations! Our only way to repair Jose and everyone there is to keep dancing. What a great dance family! It is also great to see that our studio has ranked in the top of the state when we go to competitions. Fred Astaire Marlboro is my happy place! My fiancé and I dance with our instructor JoJo once a week. Ballroom is an amazing activity to stay connected with your partner and it's also a great form of exercise! Plenty of other students don't have partners, so they work 1:1 with one of the amazing instructors. I truly can't say enough about this place - the entire staff is so friendly and welcoming to dancers of ALL levels and they are so great at fostering a community - the Fred Astaire Dance "family." I highly recommend them to anyone looking to try something new, to learn how to dance for a wedding, or to just have fun!

I started my journey with Fred Astaire Marlboro around the beginning of December of 2022. I was referred to the studio by my sister, and by the end of my first lesson I knew that I didn't want to dance at any other studio. Even though there are studios closer to where I live, I drive 45 min just to come to this studio! I was a competitive social dancer in high school, and when compared to my previous experience; they provide excellent instruction for the level that their students are at. Jose is patient with me when I need to get the minutia of steps while also moving at the break neck speed that we are moving at. If you are hesitant or wondering where to start dancing, start here. They are well trained and work at the pace of each student to ensure that they receive the best instruction and experience. All staff members are wonderful people who are knowledgeable and passionate about the work that they do. When they talk about being a dance family, it is not a cliché line here. I look forward to the days that I have lessons not only to dance, but to be in a beautiful, creative, and safe space! I love having a dance family to help me get through a hard week and really "let my hair down." No matter your skill level, you will be welcomed with open arms. I can't recommend them highly enough. My wife and I we in a pinch to complete our first dance for our special day. With only a few hours Alberto and Felicia were able to get us ready. They were very accommodating and were able to squeeze us in for two sessions all on the same night. We worked till very late, but they made sure we didn’t leave until we were comfortable and ready to take on the dance floor. Will def be back for more lessons.

I am so glad I joined thr Fred Astaire family. The teachers and staff are incredible and the other students are amazing to dance with. I'm finding more and more confidence everyday and feel so at home when I'm in the studio. My home away from home. ❤️
