Big WOW! Wonderful. Delicious and delicate. Chocolates of all shapes and sizes. Chocolate covered pumpkin seeds- amazing. Nice crunch and a subtle, flavorful dark cacao. Deep, rich truffle. Creamy and fulfilling. Excellent people who are knowledgeable, filled with enthusiasms and enjoyments for chocolate and human beings. No doubt we will be shopping here again. Lovely store on a Big Money block of downtown Seattle.
Beyond excellent customer service and the most exquisite chocolate I have ever tasted. I don’t normally leave reviews but I have to come to tell this story. Long story short, our beautifully boxed chocolates were unfortunately thrown away by mistake by our hotel staff. The chocolates were so good we wanted to repurchase the same order again because they were supposed to be gifts. Some of the same wonderful people were there the day before when we made the purchase and were surprised to see us again the next day. We told them about the unfortunate event and they replaced our exact order we were planning on repurchasing! All of it at no cost!
By far the best hot chocolate(drinking chocolate) I have had in seattle. This looks like a luxury chocolate shop and definitely on a little pricier side, I have passed by a few times and never cared about it much. I went to the store for the first time on a food tour and was quite impressed. Went in again to get some drinking chocolate. It was sublime. Tried a couple of truffles too, they were amazing as well. They gave us some samples too. The ambiance of the store is chic and sophisticated, the staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend coming to this shop if you like chocolate, you won’t be disappointed. Definitely one of the best I have been to so far.
I went to Seattle three days ago and just happened to walk by and enter Fran's Chocolates. I was greeted by Michelle and she gave me the whole background about the shop. Then Sarah told me about her favorite chocolates and the ones that I should get. Brianna checked me out and gave me activities to do and sights to see while i was in town. Thanks so much for the awesome hospitality and great service! Yall made my trip!
Simple. The best Chocolates you’ll ever try! These chocolates are even better than anything I’ve tried in Paris or even Belgium! They’re a premium but so worth it, a real treat. 👌 ‘simplement parfait’
A small chocolate shop but with very nice design and excellent products. Staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, giving all the information about differences of flavors of chocolate. Do not be scared by its elegant outside and think it must be overpriced. The price is reasonable and their chocolate is delicious!
First, I want to say that for YEARS, I would always walk right by this place; too fancy, probably overrated, too expensive for me. Let me say now, I can be so very wrong sometimes. I saw this place on an episode of How It's Made where they talked about candy. This lady knows what she's doing!! If you are going to indulge and consume the calories, why not get the best? I also got a dark chocolate bar which I haven't tried yet but I'm so excited because the site said they were sold out, they are not people! I keep a bar of dark chocolate in my purse at all times, break off chunks and savor them as needed. It's medicine, as far as I'm concerned. I'm currently eating an Almond Goldbite and dayum, its an amazing experience. Usually I don't like caramel, it's too sweet and it hurts my teeth, but these are perfect is every way. Oh yeah, I got three different high-quality products, best 16 bucks I have ever spent! The employees were incredibly kind and friendly, the guy at that cashier gave me a free caramel on my way out!! I might be a nerd, but I love a pretty bag too! 🥰 I will be returning here again very soon! Update 10/4/2022- I have now tried the PureBar 68% Dominican Dark Chocolate and I happened to have my old reliable purse treasure, Theo 70% Dark Chocolate so I gave them a side-by-side comparison and taste test. I declare, at least for my own taste buds, Theo as the winner. Fran's is darker and shinier but it has a less desirable aftertaste. They both have a pretty similar mouthfeel. Theo is 2% darker but maybe its the source of their beans?! I just know that for me, Theo has this warm, almost cinnamon finish, that is just lovely. I will be returning to Fran's for caramels though and that's their specialty anyway. 😉
Such a lovely chocolatier. Great customer service. Enjoyed their chocolate at the store and ended up bringing home some more!
