Came in this morning with my family for my birthday! we showed up at 6:30am and it didn't get too busy until around 7. Gage was our server and she was the sweetest and loveliest server I've had in a very long time.💕☺️ She communicated to us that she had to cash a few people out before she could focus on us completely, which was totally fine on our part! She got our drinks, took our food order and it all came out very fast. She checked on us frequently to see if we were doing alright or needed anything extra. Also brought me a birthday sunday and sang me happy birthday.🎂🎈thank you!!!!☺️

I forgot how much I love Franks diner now that it’s a little out of the way. Absolutely one of the cutest joints in town and one of the places I like to take visitors because it’s just so fun and the staff is absolutely amazing. The coffee i think is the best in town. They have an amazing blend that is just absolutely delightful. The food is phenomenal as well and tiu can get some things here that you cant elsewhere such as elk steak, boar bacon and fried green tomatoes. Yeaaah buddyyyyy!!! We got the fried green tomatoes in creol sauce and I had to stop my daughter from licking the plate LOL. We also got the sausage link and eggs plate which was very good and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The rye bread was so good too. And my daughter loved the fish and chips. She was so excited! And the tater sauce was one of the best I’ve ever had! Usually there is a decently long wait and they provide hot coffee in the gazebo thing outside to enjoy on your wait but going in at 3pm obviously was a good move on my part as the longest part of the wait was waiting to use the restroom. There is bar seating up front where you can pretty much seat yourself and watch the cooks do their thing which is pretty fun. The seats are pretty comfy too! Otherwise there are a bunch of booths in the back including some little half sized ones to provide extra tables for small parties despite space issues.

Huge portions and neat setting. Hashbrowns are delicious with onions and gravy. There was about a 20-min wait for seats but the staff does an excellent job of following thru and managing the chaos. Totally worth the wait. Plus, free coffee if you waIt outside!

Welcome aboard. Yes, that's a strange thing to say about your breakfast restaurant but here we are in a fantastically restored vintage railcar. It dates back to manufacture in 1906 and then updating as a presidential car. And now it's a fabulous throwback to history as a modern diner. No waiting when I arrived on a weekday and a lovely woman took care of me for my breakfast. I opted for the half-sized omelet which was definitely not half-sized. There's a lot of food here with hash browns topped with their hand-made country gravy. Yes, half of this huge breakfast went into a box and became today's lunch. Warm, friendly service. A delightful setting. Terrific food. I would recommend it highly for breakfast or lunch in Spokane!

Great place for a good breakfast. Plan as it can be busy and hard to get a table. Portions were big. The food was tasty and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely go here again.

The food was delicious. I had a Belgian waffle with huckleberries and whipping cream. My husband had the Franks special..it had pancakes, eggs, bacon , hash browns and toast. The server was very friendly and coffee cups were always full!

This old time vibe was awesome.The food was great and large portion size for sure. The waitress was just as nostalgic with a long history of employment from the restaurant. This will be my new go to when in the area.

Frank's Diner lives up to the hype! Delicious food, great service and fun atmosphere! I had the eggs Benedict with the gravy and onions on my hash browns, everything was smothered in sauce! Delicious! Even locals eat here.
