Great place to lay on the beach just a stones throw from the city. Beautiful sunrise views & great drop-in place for kayaking to cruise over to the channel for big boat watching. Quiet parking lot, not huge so that's both a plus & minus depending on what you like.
Porter potties available on site.
Beach is steps/not ramp (wheelchairs).
Is it the ocean...nope it's the frigid north in all its beauty. Great spot to take the pooch or just sit and reflect while the waves crash in. And if your really adventurous catch a wave or two!
Beautiful beach with perfect waves, the lake so god damm big feels like a ocean, you can surf, swim but water is a bit cold most of the time. Awesome experience, just don't drown, hard to recover as you won't float✌️
Really cool little park. Right on the beach and close to the harbor. You can see the ships coming and going from the harbor. Also real close to all kinds of stores on the other side of the bridge. There was a whole group of dudes wind surfing the day we went so it was cool to see.
One of the most beautiful beaches in the state of Minnesota. Water is icy cold you may need a wet suit to swim or wakeboard. Beaches clean with lots of drift wood to find for crafts or small bonfire. Would be nice if there were benches available to sit down. Great scenic view to watch the ships come in. The sun sets behind you, not over the lake.
Lighthouses are in view. Porta potties available in the summer. Parking available close by.
Being close to Lake Superior, listening to the waves and feeling the breeze is a magic a experience.
A beautiful place to sit and contemplate eternity
This is a beautiful beach. We love it here and visit often. The kids really enjoy climbing the dunes and galloping on the beach. This beach is pet friendly and people are always really good about keeping their dogs in control.
Great hiking with beautiful views. It was cloudy and gray the day we hiked here, but we still really enjoyed it. Lots of different trails to explore with various terrain options.
Beautiful park, beautiful views! Really nice hiking trails. I am even impressed by how nice the restrooms are! The Enger Tower is a fun experience. Feels like an old castle tower. Very fun and a must see if visiting Duluth.
Super fun trails! Trails could be a bit technical for beginners. I like the fact that most are two way trails so you can ride the trails going down or up. I was challanged on my rock climbing and descending skills... Fun!
Gichi-ode' Skiing park is where the heart of this city starts. There are no playgrounds, barbeques, restrooms, etc. Only recently when the 'city' wanted more tourist dollars did they 'give' this land, Chief Buffalo's, the name that 'they' gave. Me p
Wild State Cider has so many delicious options to choose from! Hands down one of my top favorite cidery. So delicious! I didn't try them but they also have a variety of THC infused beverages if that's more your thing!
