The FP Ice Arena is a friendly place. A place for a high level of ice sports and activities, which has been in service for good number of years. Home to a hockey store, party rooms, ice arena, small space rink, and is able to provide rental services for part areas, broom ball, general ice skating and competitive hockey leagues. Very recommended. the staff is super friendly. The facility has great accessibility. The parking lot can host a good number of cars. There is plenty of street parking as well. The location is near a part and on a pretty calm street with littel to no traffic. Give them a call to find out more about their programs, services and any questions.

Such a nice place to learn ice skating! I signed up for the adult’s class and I love to go there every Saturday. My teachers are super nice and helpful. Also the public skating is pretty good, it’s not crowded on weekdays at all, so the rink is all yours to practice :)

I am no ice skater but the persons i was with ware ...sooo... No to bad.. but.... The ice was little messy and full of holes...overall great time fun place to spend couple of hours

Pros: Easy parking. Incredibly friendly staff. Made it very simple to use my Groupon. Cons: public skate times are very very limited and at odd hours (very early afternoon and very late evening). They do not resurface the ice during the 1.5 hours public skate time, so it does get dicey. Shoes are not sprayed down and just re-racked.

It was packed full of parents and hockey players, gathered in the common area maskless & no one cared to enforce the rules. 90% were maskless despite the sign on the entrance door. We felt really uncomfortable and decided to leave early.

Good rink, again, you win some, you loose some. Chalk this one up in the loosing column

As far as local rinks go it is a very good option. Far ahead of Addison Ice Arena, but not as awesome as Canlan in Romeoville. The adult leagues are affordable and the people are generally good here. One extra star for finally installing a bottle filler.
