Franklin Marriott Cool Springs - Hotel in Franklin - 700 Cool Springs Blvd, USA

We came for a wedding at a nearby venue. The hotel location was convenient and the hotel itself was fine. However, the food service is another story. Saturday morning we went to the breakfast buffet to find virtually all of the food gone. 30 to 45 minutes after we arrived some additional food was put out, but by that time we were ready to go. The next morning was worse. When we arrive at the “wait to be seated” sign, no one came. Others stopped to tell us they had been waiting on their bill and had seen no sign of anyone to help for some time. We finally decided to seat ourself. We past the server who served us yesterday and she said “go ahead and sit there and someone else will be there to help. No one came and the server we passed spent the next 20 minutes talking to a table with no other servers in sight. This experience just confirms my belief that the quality of Marriott locations has significantly deteriorated since the Marriott family left the business. I have titanium elite status and never experienced any of these issues when the Marriott family was still in charge. Very sad. The hotel itself was clean and pleasant, but the food service is in need of a serious overhaul.

Friendly service. Spacious and clean rooms. Modern and elegant decor throughout. I have enjoyed two weekend stays here for a conference. The conference rooms are big and bright. Perfect location in the middle of Franklin. Plenty of shopping and eateries nearby. There is also a lot of land around the hotel to walk around outside.

I travel extensively for business and try to stay exclusively at Marriott properties. I often stay at Springhill and Courtyards, and had high hopes for my experience at the Marriott Cool Springs near Franklin,TN. Needless to say the condition of the property is extremely disappointing. Looks nice on the outside, the M-lounge was pretty nice. The room is so worn as to be cringe-worthy. Cabinetry is nicked with large chips visible in the wood, doors don’t stay open or shut on cabinets, it looks like several keg parties have been thrown in here at some point in it’s past, and the iron had rusty brown liquid coming out of it. The back of the desk chair wouldn’t stay in the vertical position . It’s as if someone leaned back, bent the mechanics and support in the chair and now it’s a perpetual recliner. Am I missing something? If you pay $200-$300 a night for a room shouldn’t it at least meet a minimum standard—clean, functional and not appearing as though it has been the venue for multiple keg parties?!?

Just recently held a 300-person conference at this facility. Planners beware! The hotel randomly added 25% to our fees that was not in the contract. The AV vendor did the same as they added gear that we did not need or request. Bottom line, make sure and pay attention to the contract and invoice and that you have the knowledgeable resources to review what you're buying/renting for your event.

Just wanted to share how incredibly helpful and responsive this front desk, events, and banquet management staff were - Francisco was so helpful and really deserves extra recognition.

During our recent stay at the Franklin Marriott Hotel, my girlfriend and I experienced a significant privacy breach that raises concerns about the hotel's security measures. On April 14, 2024, an unauthorized individual accessed our room using an access card while we were inside. This disturbing incident was compounded by the lack of communication from the hotel staff; not only was there no immediate apology, but the response was merely an impersonal award of 10,000 points, which does not suffice given the gravity of the situation.||Additionally, the service throughout our stay fell short of expectations. Key amenities were unavailable, my Titanium member status went unrecognized, and basic courtesy like announcing oneself as housekeeping before entering a room was neglected.||While the location of the hotel may be convenient, the oversight in security and guest recognition significantly overshadowed our experience. It's disheartening that a brand like Marriott has not taken immediate and effective steps to address such a severe lapse in guest safety and service standards. I hope that by bringing this to light, future guests will not have to face similar issues.

We had a conference inside the hotel so the location was perfect by default but the service was really good and the rooms were excellent.
