It's definitely a perfect neighborhood bar to get a drink and some very good food . Service is always good and personable, and with the comfortable atmosphere, ya can't go wrong . Pizza Chips !!!
I have lived in this area for over 3 years and found this wonderful place. The cheeseburger was very tasty and the long island ice tea I loved long time ha ha . The owner came to our table and chatted with us and she was a wonderful woman who told us the history of the bar. I will pick Frankie V'S over Mickey D'S anytime. Thanks.
Martina is a great host !! We recently stopped on Thursday night for an evening snack, and we ate like kings. Espresso Martini - yummm!!!! All the food was delicious ! You name it, try it, and you will taste how good it is !! 5 of us ate full dinner and had 12 drinks for less than $170. You can't beat that !! Planning a next visit ASAP !!
Frankie V's is hands down one of the best (if not the best) places in Whiting, Indiana. I have been going for years and the food is consistently exceptional. Some of our favorites are: - Ribeye Sandwich - Meatball Sandwich - Chicken Parmesan Sandwich - Wings - Jalapeño Cheese Ravioli - Pizza and so much more Natalie and Martina are friendly, the service is fast, and the environment very welcoming.
Finally was able to check out this place… kept seeing the “Daily Specials” posts on Facebook and had to try it out… went on a Friday night with two guys who can seriously eat… when we arrived the lounge and bar were full… we initially sat in the back room and were told when a booth opened up we could move to it… no problem… ordered cheese curd appetizers and drinks and before we finished the appetizers, we were sitting up front in a booth… excellent service… atmosphere reminded us of a Chicago neighborhood tavern of days gone by… food quality was great… staff outstanding… my only disappointment is that I didn’t try the fish platter… next time…
We came across this spot after a bike ride around Hammond. Exceptional food and service in a small neighborhood bar. The fried chicken is outstanding and the tavern style pizza holds its ground against any of the famous Chicago pizza joints. Truly a hidden gem in NW Indiana

The manager was very welcoming and friendly. Lots of activities for kids scheduled during the day. Very interactive. We liked the mini multi sport arena. You can play different sports with your socks on.
