Great spot to gather with friends, have great food, and drinks. They have spacious indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating was packed. The outdoor seating has plenty of heaters with 3 large fire pits keeping the square warm. The staff were incredible going around adding fire logs and changing the propane tanks to keep us warm. The food is great to share and very filling. I was very pleased with the drink options. They have beers, ciders, and non-alcoholic options. There are wheelchair accessible stalls with vertical and horizontal grab bars. The sink is a trough still so not ideal. They do not have paper towels but rather opt for high pressure hand dryers right by the door. There was music playing over speakers that was hard to talk over. Definitely hard for those with sensitive hearing or who get over stimulated. I recommend bringing ear plugs if that is you.
Absolutely love this place. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. Beer selection is as good as you would expect. The beer cocktails were solid too. My only complaint would be that they only have one person taking orders at the food counter and it was extremely busy, my guess is that they do it to not over work the kitchen staff.
Frankford Hall was disappointing. Based on its reputation and past important role for the area, I expected more. What I experienced was an overall drab atmosphere, high prices for average German food, a beer selection which was boring, and standoffish service. Likely wouldn't return, unless I heard about a refresh/major changes to Frankford Hall overall.
Probably oldest beer garden of Philly which designed as a bad. I used to love this spot pre Covid as the space were used for games and such cool vibes. Now they still have couple of games here and there but put more chair tables to sit in the open space. Became a more chill out space now. The food is mostly beer bar food. But a great spot for beer people. Great collection of German beers especially. All and all worth going and chill time to time.
We went for their annual Santa brunch. It was great. It's a fun place to bring the kids for the afternoon while enjoying an adult beverage.
Ordered from Frankford Hall for some of their tasty fare at home. I was disappointed to see how stingy the portions were, especially based on the prices. Believe it or not, the photo was the order of schnitzel BEFORE I split it with my boyfriend. While it was thin, it was cut down way too much in size to be worth it.
I waffled between 4 and 5 stars, here. Ultimately, the experience is excellent but the food is fairly ordinary. The sausages we tried were tasty but unexceptional. The sauerkraut lacked the punch that it should have. And, there should have been more mustard options. Our fries were well-cooked but lacked seasoning. our pretzel was over salted.
Still, the beer selection is outstanding. The environment is fun. We spent an hour playing Jenga before a show, never feeling pressured to hurry along. This is an excellent place to spend a couple of hours--just understand you're not there for the food.
We stopped in here before heading to a show at the Punch Line. My friend and I immediately fell in love with the space! They have an outdoor garden area with fire pits and also a spacious indoor area with a lot of seating. We ordered their pretzel and apple ciders. They were yum!

A unique hotel with history and a very nice decor to enhance any stay while traveling. We stayed there for a couple days during the New Year's Holiday and had a wonderful experience. Great location in the middle of the city, safe and close to everyth
Coffee here was amazing! The iced latte was great! The black coffee was something else! So fruity and aromatic - truly a great experience! Very much recommended getting their beans too!
A must stop if you are in Philly!!! Kevin's creations are incredibly delicious. Put down the cheese steak and go grab some tasty vegan, gf and dairy free options. Dessert=a meal. Back-to-back visits made us super fans!!! Pls open up a place in J-
Joined on a student membership for the summer and really enjoyed my experience. All the trainers were highly knowledgeable (and incredibly athletic) and made sure everyone felt welcome in the gym. When I was dealing with a shoulder injury, they were
