This is not a resort. This is an old hotel, a step above a motel. |My husband keeps saying I need to read reviews before booking places and darn, he’s right. |There is a little balcony which was nice since I had work to do and there’s no desk/sitting area. ||The AC simply does not work. It’s loud and doesn’t cool off the room. The room was comfortable after about 3am when the temps cooled off. There is a fan in the room, so they know the AC doesn’t work. It’s Arizona- it’s hot. |The water pressure is minimal in the sink and shower. That’s a bummer. |The state sign states the highest rate is $175 but I paid more and I see it listed for more. This hotel isn’t worth $175 a night. Or $150 a night.

Katlyn was the best server and bartender she ran circles around the other server jolanda who forgot about us all night. Big shoutout to Katlyn she rocks and is the reason we would come again.

Stayed here for a work event, and all I can say is never again. I found multiple dead crickets in my room, another employee found a bat in their shower, someone else had a shower faucet fall out of their bath tub, then another person found a cricket in their bed, another's door was broken for more than half the day, the elevator kept stopping and not bring you to the correct floors. The staff were fine, most of them lovely, and the food was pretty decent, but yikes to everything else! The rooms were dated and most of our balcony doors were broken or inaccessible. Dirty carpet, torn and worn with a ton of stains. Not to mention the cow farm across the street, so everything smelled like cow manure in the evening, including the rooms. Also no security at all, all doors were accessible from a stairway that had no security what so ever.

The resort has been around since mid-20th century originally as the spring training site for the SF Giants complete with a baseball bat shaped swimming pool. While the hotel is older, it's been well maintained and has all the amenities for a nice getaway. We were in a suite on the 8th floor with a wraparound balcony and 270 degree views. It's a little known resort, but worth a try.

If you need the convenience of being close to the course then it makes sense to stay here. Otherwise, for the price, quality and customer service are very poor. Although the restaurant and the staffs there are really good. By no means it is a resort. It is a motel. During my stay there, due to some construction work the city had shut down the water supply without any notice and the hotel was impacted as well. No water in the bathrooms/restrooms were out of order and the guests didn't have water to use toilets anywhere around. Manager didn't handle the situation well. She said that the management wouldn't compensate or provide any help to get water or anything. I was told if I decide to stay there, I am making a conscious decision to stay there knowing the current condition. I was surprised to hear how rude and inconsiderate a manager could be and has no idea about customer service. Atleast 10 families that were staying in the hotel checked out that evening. They didn't charge me for that day since I checked out. I would never go back here, neither would I recommend this place to anyone. Terrible terrible place, except for the restaurant, staffs and the food was very tasty.

Ate breakfast here. Portions are gigantic and tasty. Strange that we were the only ones eating breakfast though. They don't really have any signs directing you to the restaurant so you just have to walk in the door, through a large open hall area and go to the restaurant and bar in the back.

Super disappointed in this hotel. Not only is it extremely outdated, I don't know how they can classify it as a resort. ||First, the rooms are so completely outdated and our room did not have A/C. It was mid 70's when we were there. They did have a portable A/C or fan in the room but when we would come in at noon or later it was super muggy and hot even with the portable A/C running all day. Made for a miserable sleep. Never stayed in a hotel room that was that hot or muggy.||House keeping came at 8:30am the first day and since we were still in the room we asked them to come back in an hour or two and they said ok. By 11:30 they still hadn't come and so we called the front desk to let them know they haven't shown up. Got back later in the afternoon and room was still not cleaned. Called front desk again only to find out that housekeeping leaves at 2pm so room could no longer be cleaned. ||During a shower on our 2nd day the water stopped working. Come to find out it was a water main break in the area. Weird because the toilet worked just fine but we couldn't turn on the shower or the sink. I took video because that has never happened during a stay. My son couldn't take a shower that day before his tournament. Housekeeping came and cleaned our room after there was no running water. I guess they just do a wipe down since there was no water.|| When he finished the tournament I went to front desk to let them know we would be leaving and staying at another hotel. They accommodated this but said they cannot offer anything else for the previous night/that day that we went without water. For $300 a night that seems a little unfair.||The quality of the hotel is so old and rundown and I will never stay there again. We ended up going 25 mins away to stay at the Harrah's Ak Chin and had a lovely room and stay.||The golf course itself is pretty run down too. Was just hoping for something nicer considering it said Resort. Don't get your hopes up.

This is a bizarre place. It is a combination of hotel rooms and some sort of dormitory. "Resort" it is not. The driving range is dirt and the course itself looks like a pasture. Came to visit friends, but not sure who would ever pay to play this course.

This is the better and newer option of local budget hotels. Friendly staff, newer and cleaner rooms. Prices are higher than similar offerings nearby, and tends to get full often.
