Stayed 3 nights in May. Wonderful atmosphere. Quiet, friendly, and professional. Hot tub and heated pool are incredible. Ben and the entire front desk staff made our stay extra special. Excellent location to State St and the wharf area. Breakfast could be improved but I was happy they provide fruit in the lobby all day. It's so hard to get fresh fruits and veggies when traveling these days.
Perfect stay! Staff is amazing and super friendly! Had a delicious dragon fruit seltzer which made my pool day. Perfect location and breakfast is just what you need after a night out. Thank you for a perfect stay!
This was our favourite hotel during our Californian road trip. We were already staying in Santa Barbara and were not very happy with our first hotel. The general manager showed us around and gave us an upgrade to a suite. The hotel a facilities were great. All the staff on reception were excellent and very helpful. At the time they were not advertising that breakfast was included but it was. They also offer complementary cookies between1-9pm, wow. Very convenient to the beach , downtown and everything you could wish to visit in Santa Barbara. The town itself was delightful. Would have love to have stayed longer but had to continue our journey
We were pleasantly surprised at what a great hotel this was! Flor, the manager and who checked us in, was funny, sweet, kind, and made us feel like we arrived home after a long trip! She let us check in 4 hrs early! And she let us use the four bikes for extra hours since we had kids with us! The kids loved the pool and when they were being naughty and jumping in the pool since no one was there she let them be kids and have fun. The units are clean, large, beds comfortable, kitchen is spacious plus the couch and table, beautiful landscape and close proximity to everything, even the beach and state street, made it a delight to explore Santa Barbara. The nice thing is that it’s out of main town but only .6 of a mile away! We enjoyed walking home after dinner through the lovely neighborhoods! Almost don’t want to share this secret but I also want them to be here when we come back to visit! Another bonus, the kids were next door to us and we didn’t hear them once!
Our time in the Franciscan Inn was so great that we extended our stay. The rooms were clean, the location was close to the ocean but also in walking distance to the main street with lots of restaurants. We especially enjoyed the sweet baked goods for breakfast and the included rent time for their bikes (2 hours). If we're coming back to Santa Barbara, we'll definitely know where to stay!
This hotel was such a wonderful surprise! The staff was fantastic from check-in to check-out, the rooms were spacious, the bed and pillows were so comfortable, and the place just oozes Santa Barbara charm. Loved the location, just a quick walk to the water, but with easy access to downtown. They even offer bikes for 2 hours for free! This was our favorite place we stayed on our road trip from Mount Shasta to LA.
Positive: The reception was very welcoming. They had fresh baked cookies and coffee/tea for guests. The room was organized and very clean. In-room coffee option was yummy Lav Azza Espresso. We asked for an iron and they brought it to our room very quickly. Negative: The room needs hooks! For used clean towels, coats, purses clothes etc. We ended up piling clothes on top of our luggage, which isn¿t ideal. Negative: ""
We stayed four nights total here and had to switch rooms for the last night since we decided to add an extra night. The first three nights we stayed in a room with a queen in a separate room and a sofa bed in the main area. Five stars for this room as it was new, updated, and very quiet. The room we got on the last night had two queen beds in one room, but wasn’t updated like the first room. The air conditioner was very old and made noises all night. The tub had some black mold along the edges, but the room was otherwise clean. At 1:00 am, some neighbors were smoking right outside our window and talking loudly, waking us all up. Their pool is heated to 82 degrees which was awesome! The hotel has towels for guests to use and free coffee and tea all day in the lobby, not to mention chocolate chip cookies baked fresh in the afternoon. The location to the beach and good restaurants was fantastic! I would stay here again if I got a room like the first one. The front office staff was very friendly and accommodated us in adding an extra night. The cleaning staff got our room ready by 12:00 since we switched rooms, so this helped us a lot with our luggage. Great experience overall!
We loved our stay here! The manager/owner gave us great recommendations on hikes in the area! The location is perfect and walkable into town but quiet in the evenings. The room was perfect. We used their complementary bikes to ride to the butterfly b
We had a great time in Santa Barbara. The Eagle Inns staff were all very helpful and courteous and the breakfast everyday was amazing! Very accommodating. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the tub in the room very much. The place is really swe
For me, my Bar Method classes are as important as taking my vitamins! I have been going regularly for nearly two years now and I feel so strong and healthy. The instructors go through a lot of training so you can count on having a good, challenging c
The best F45 I've been to. Class was packed with almost 50 members. All the coaches, specifically Coach Katrina, found time to motivate and challenge me through one of the best workouts I've had in months.
