Lovely playspace with splash pad, turf, great playground equipment, all close together so kids can choose different areas but be watched by an adult in one spot. Good shade and picnic tables, accessible swings, including a baby+parent swing
I really enjoy this park with my daughter. It's spacious, clean and safe. On the grounds of the Hometown Police Station. The children are well behaved and always accompanied by adults. They have an awesome water sprinkler set up that the kids (and parents) love to get wet in. And a recreational that the public can rent for parties. The portable washrooms need cleaning more often, I must admit. They have much more ground to build on and it will earn 5☆☆☆☆☆ if they decided to expand and build something for the children to climb through. Update!! This park is 1⭐ when the water splinker is on. Children get wet then play on the two metal ramps by the swing! THEY ARE SLIPPERY AND DANGEROUS WHEN WET! One child slipped and busted his mouth opened. I slipped and landed on my shoulder! We do not go to this park anymore.
We just came from this park, and this was our second time visiting! I honestly feel a bit more comfortable knowing it's right next to the PD. My kids had a blast going from the playground to the water area. It wasn't too crowded. Also, it has a nice view of Metra train passing right next to us. We're definitely coming back again soon this summer ☀️
My kids enjoyed this park a big plus its fenced and next to a police station!! Also the place has camera surveillance so that's a big big plus for sure. We Loved it !!
Love to take my grand babies to this park. Perfect spot for toddlers
Great playground. They redone the sod and have a great water park for the kids and a Zipline swing.
It is a very nice park! Both of my boys really enjoyed it A LOT!!! My boys are 2.5yo & almost 1yo. The main thing I really liked about this park was the new playground equipment & astro-turf surface under it! They have a medium sized spray-pad feature to cool off & 2-3 picnic benches with canopies covering them! There's 2-3 regular swings, 2 handicapped or what I call "little kid" swings, & an adult & baby swing feature! Last but not least, there's also a really cool looking zip-line swing feature, that all the older kids seemed to love! Overall, I was really impressed!! I've seen this park from the street, driving by it many times, & didn't really think it was anything special.. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised & glad we decided to finally check it out!! We will definitely add this park to our list of favorites!!
The splash pad is small but the playground makes up. I love how it's enclosed and secure.

Columbus Park is a wonderful safe place for children to play and the basketball, baseball and dog park is very nice maintained and kept well clean. The park is nicely padded to children don't get gurl and it's at a safe height so children don't fall.
I love this park. Its clean has a small splash pad, huge playground, a skate park, corn holes, a beautiful flower garden and a volleyball net; which is my kids favorite due to the sand tunnels they can make. I wish there was a restroom avaliable but
The strawberry lemonade with mango boba was so good and tasted fresh. I always go to Chinatown for boba but find myself in the oak lawn area a lot, Iâd have to say this boba tea shop is better than others in the area. Also the taro crepe cake was l

Cozy and cute place for milk tea. It's amazing that they have every Asian snack here. The milk tea tastes really natural like you can taste the tea, not just all sweet milk like many places in Chinatown. Totally recommended ð Just found out they s
Beautiful bench that is very handicap accessible! Sometimes I have to use A wheelchair and thought I could easily with their paths. Beautiful educational park. Grilling areas with picnic tables.
Best Bloody Mary's in the country!! $5 on Sundays. I travel all over and look for best Bloodys wherever I'm at, and so far NO ONE has bested Neil and his recipe!!
