During my recent tour of the facility, I was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. Derrick, one of the administrators, guided the tour, showcasing his extensive knowledge about the facility. Throughout the tour, Derrick warmly greeted both residents and staff, which I found particularly impressive. His approachable demeanor and familiarity with everyone added a personal touch to the visit.
My mom has an apartment in independent living and she loves it. She has made many friends and they all help and watch out for each other. The staff seems eager to help make her stay more enjoyable.
It's clean and the staff for the most part is friendly. It was my 1st time there. So I'll see how "friendly" and clean they are when my mother arrives. If the star rises or falls
The craft store and bargain barn are wonderful. The people there are very happy and helpful. The money they take in is donated in a very helpful way.
Mary Hill COMPLETELY scammed me out of a TV & other services and refuses to pick up the phone or respond to every form of contact that was given to me. I’m giving her one more day to respond or else I will be getting a legal team involved.
It's very comforting to know your loved one is content and well taken care of. The facility was clean and orderly.. Staff was courteous. I'd recommend anyone needing assisted living to reside here and feel satisfied.
We moved my Mom to Foxwood Springs in June. I can’t say enough about how awesome this is for her in Independent Living at 87 years old. Today she is planning to listen to a Brass Quartet play and earlier this week a local choir came. They have a Hair Salon, Drivers and Bistro in addition to the dining room. It is a hop and skip from Overland Park and Belton Regional Hospital.
I called over 40 places in Ohio and Atlanta and Kansas researching Independent living properties and settled here as it is very nice and affordable. They have a wonderful staff with very kind people.
I highly recommend Foxwood Springs!
I helped my mom at my house for eight months where I was responsible for all of her meds and taking care of her prior to moving her here. I say this to explain that I know what her issues were and that she was not an easy person. However, when you pay the kind of money you pay to Foxwood you expect the best care. I think most of her nurses were fine, nothing exceptional. She was in assisted living for several months and could do most things for herself but on her bad days she required a little more help. She fell Multiple times while living here. The last time resulted in a head injury. The nursing staff called me and upon my arrival, before I ever saw my mother, the charge nurse confronted me and said she was going to need more care than they could give in assisted-living and they were moving her to the skilled nursing unit. Which is fine except it cost three times as much and the nurse was very unconcerned about my mother’s health- just anxious to get her moved. I stayed several hours to monitor her and help her eat. When I left the plan was to move her the next day. I called multiple times to check on mom overnight and she was very different (non-responsive). I hurried back the next morning with concerns and was told that they had given her sleeping pills both the night before and that morning, which explained her behavior. However, when an 86 year old lady has a head injury, protocol isn’t to prescribe sleeping pills. Someone should have been concerned and keeping an eye on her rather than drugging her. Mom was moved to skilled nursing- where she passed away 10 days later. I do not recommend Foxwood -they just seem so uncaring. She had a couple of good nurses but the atmosphere as a whole was just unconcerned, certainly not what I had thought it would be for her final months.
Our entire girls softball team loves going to Mojitos. We frequent both locations and always have the best experience. The entire staff are so genuine, kind, and go above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable. The food is delicious and the portions a
We were there for our grandsonâs soccer tournament and it is a beautifully kept park. The fields were clean and manicured and the kids had a great time playing on the playground between games.
All-time favorite coffee go to place. Pumpkin spice latte, Caramellicious, and hot chocolate. I ordered a peppermint mocha and asked several times if they made it without caffeine (I was trying to get something for my 8 year old) they said yes. I tas
