We are having our wedding here in November and traveled up for a quick visit & details meeting.
The rooms are pristine, with quality linens, beautiful decor and a gorgeous view of one the property’s lakes.
Amanda the Director of Rooms was so helpful and truly knows the property inside-out. She is the pure definition of someone who provides outstanding customer service and attention to detail.
Jackie at the front desk is so wonderful, welcoming and helpful.
Their entire bar/ restaurant staff are great as well. The food at Pheasant Blue is so great we went back on our way out for lunch!
This is a destination worth spending time at. The grounds are expansive and beautiful, the sunrise over the horse paddocks is a great spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee, and you can explore the grounds for hours finding something new every time you venture out.
We are so excited to be back in a few months with all of our family & friends to enjoy this incredible resort!
Attended a wedding event recently spanning two days. The staff was very friendly and welcoming - making us feel very comfortable and at home. The location was very scenic and suited the occasion admirably. Spread out over a very large area, we were able to experience quite a bit of variety in the natural beauty. All the locations have been well maintained and this added to the joy of the occasion.
I went to Foxcreek Hall just for the afternoon to enjoy their amenities. The location isn't close but it was what I was looking for. Their pool area was relaxing and the facilities were clean. I was 1 of 6 guest there on a Sunday. The grounds are gorgeous and it offers a variety of activities for all levels of interest. I did learn that they stopped serving food at 2pm but have a small market store available with snacks, drinks and lite eats. However their bar was open. A couple cons were they need additional umbrellas around the lounge chairs. There were only 3 available,. It would be nice if there was music playing to avoid a guest playing their own preference of music on their personal speaker which this did happen. Also, the bartender there did serve on and deliver drinks to a small family of guest at the pool however this service was not extended to me as I had to go inside to order my drinks. That was a little disappointing. Over I do recommend this place for a day-cation getaway if you are looking to avoid the crowds and find some peace.
Facility and location are very nice. Some inexplicable design flaws in the fittings of the rooms/apts. A cattle? A toaster? What the dishwasher is for without a stove or any cooking facility? Instead a washing machine is missing, not even a shared laundry room is available.
The restaurant service can improve and shall be managed less casually. Has lot of potential.
Nice staff, lovely people doing their best to help.
Your insensitivities to a young bride and groom, trying to plan one of the most important weekends of their lives has caused undo stress for my son and future daughter-in-law. If you were just upfront in your policy about reserving rooms, they would’ve moved on and booked elsewhere four months ago. The fact that you dragged your feet in giving them a decision so that you could book a full wedding party was not disclosed to them upfront as it should’ve been. Honesty is always the best policy. Very disappointed Foxhall in your business decisions.
I cannot say enough about how gorgeous Foxhall Resort is. From the decor to the grounds, it is remarkable how beautiful the entire space is. ||||The room was clean, comfortable and modern. We will be returning time and time again!
4th July Weekend was an amazing experience! The checkin team, bar staff/fantastic cocktails and the culinary experts escalated the experience!
The room was beautiful, super clean and the screen porch looking over the lake was spectacular!
The grounds are beautiful and the kayaking was so peaceful!
The pool is huge and positioned so you are looking directly at the lake!
Foxhall seemed so great via the pictures and website. But once we arrived we were very disappointed. We were one of only a few guests which at first felt nice and exclusive but after a day or two I started wondering why. When we got into our room it much like a basic Holiday Inn Express room. The mini fridge didn’t work so we needed to get ice from the clubhouse every day to keep our things cool. The hot water was turned off when we arrived and my wife had to get down under the sinks to turn it back on so we could have hot showers. The family that stayed in the room next to us had the same complaint of no hot water and when the staff came to speak with her they only gave her the option of moving rooms - which didn’t have hot water either because it was turned off. Once my wife told our neighbor how to turn on the hot water she was very relieved as the staff couldn’t even solve her problem. The property was very nice but very empty. It felt eerie like everything was abandoned. We checked out a day early and they said they would refund us for the extra day but it’s been over a week and we still haven’t seen the refund for the $345. They also never sent a receipt. Finally, they never made it clear that the whole property was nonsmoking - there was a sign in the room stating it was a non smoking room but nowhere was it clearly stated or explained it was a nonsmoking property. So upon checkout they charged us a $246 smoking fee for smoking on the porch. I am an adult, had I known the whole property was non-smoking I would have driven down the road to smoke. The whole place was creepy, disappointing and super expensive with little to no communication or organization. This was a total waste of a birthday trip and a huge waste of money.
