Fox Run Vineyards - Winery in Penn Yan - 670 NY-14, USA

Not for the sweet wine lover but great for the dry and semi-dry. We called and were told they had sweet wines, but it was only compared to their other wines. Beautiful inside with lots of cute merchandise choices. Nice deli bar for those that are looking for a choice of good samplings with their wine. Crowded so it was noisier, not the quiet relaxing settling we were looking for.

A fabulous collection of crisp, perfectly acidic and fruitful Rieslings. Loved their reds too. The tasting room runs a cafe which closes at 5pm and the wine tastings are till 6pm. They have a gift shop selling local produce and off course their wines. $10 for 5 one oz pours is a great deal. The only negative I found was the place gave very corporate vibes, no personal touch, just interested in sales. That’s the reason I’m giving a lower rating. For me the whole package counts The place the vibes the product Secondly, the lake facing seating was across the Highway so a constant stream of traffic and noise even further took away from the wine tasting experience!

What better or more scenic spot for a flight of white or red than this clean and popular vineyard in the finger lakes. Knowledgeable staff with long experience know their stuff, and make a novice feel welcome. There are plenty of places to toast and imbibe with comfort and poise. Love the gift selection and gorgeous grounds. Amiable atmosphere and a taste of the region’s sublime and cozy feels.

The food was Yum ! We ordered Quiche and white garlic pizza, and they are too good ! Loved the ambiance and definitely recommend to everyone

What a gorgeous venue 🤩 just lovely. The fleets of wine are so cute. The wine was delicious! Loved their salad and dressing. My portobello mushroom sandwich was okay.

This is the winery to go to! If you're overwhelmed by the options in the gorgeous Finger Lakes, pick this one. A full cafe for food or snacks with vegetarian options, gorgeous inside and outside views and delightful wines it's hard to find a better option. Reservations are not taken or required for seating or tours so just check it out. Flights are very affordable and some of the better wine I've had. Definitely a must go!

I’ve been to Foxrun on multiple occasions and each time it has been a wonderful experience! I love to come here for lunch as their food and wine is delicious. I’ve tried their pub pretzel sticks that come with a Chardonnay cheese sauce and their signature club sandwich as well, and both items were super flavorful. I’ve also gotten a few of their flights to try and even though I’m not a huge wine drinker, they were very good! I also like that they sell nonalcoholic beverages here for anyone who might not be drinking. The winery itself is beautiful, with a gorgeous view of the lake, and the staff here is super friendly. Overall this place is a must-stop!

LOVED the taste buds tasting. I grabbed a few bottles to take back to the mitten state. I just adored the wine and food pairings, they were spot on. Brought out different flavors on your palate. I would return again and experience more of the menu and wine offerings. Great experience and service
