Many times already we come in this park to play disc golf. One of my favorite parks to go to play disc golf with my husband. It is a thirty minutes drive from where we lived. Dog friendly as well.

This is a great park. Tons of room with fields, woods play grounds, trails, baseball, and disk golf

Off road parking with a long, paved launch. There is no designated parking loylt, so trailers and trucks will be on the side of the road. It is a small area where it appears some fishing happens regularly. There is no bathroom on site.

Nice park with lots of wide open spaces, playgrounds, disk golf and hiking/bike trails. Trail loop is smaller but very nice and has a nice stretch the runs right along the Fox River. Quiet and peaceful park.

Disc Golf review. This course is fun but can be very tough if you are having an off day. There is an added bonus 9 hole course called the Red Fox across the park street from the Grey Fox to help you get warmed up before hitting this course. Both courses are donation based and there is an unusual looking donation station that had no envelopes provided so just drop you dollar bills in the slot and enjoy. From the parking lot, the first tee is a few yards away. There is signage at each tee but they are not well maintained or entirely present at each hole. The signs are hand written maps on painted boards and screwed to a post that is numbered which is still better than some courses. If the next tee pad isn’t easily visible from the previously played basket, there are signs leading you to the next tee. First time playing through this course, there were a few holes that were difficult to find and required a longer than usual walk to find. Example being hole 16. You’ll need to walk through the parking lot and look for the awkwardly placed swing set and slide that leads you right to the tee pad for 16. Other than that, it is difficult to get lost here. For the majority of the first 9 holes, the fairways are wide open with some trees/bushes as obstacles. These are less technical and more grip it and rip. There are a few exceptions such as the blind up hill through the woods for hole 6 and the narrow downhill hole 7 (both being my favorite holes for the first 9). Pins placements are decent with some tucked away in some nooks and crannies or hidden behind a plethora of trees/bushes.  The back 9 is where the holes are long and technical but still enjoyable. Keeping your drive on the fairway is vital as you play these holes where the thick woods lining the seemingly narrow fairways will make or break your score. Regardless, the back 9 holes are the best part of this course. There are a wide variety of looks off the tee pads. Some blind, many long, others are uphill or downhill, others have narrow or wide fairways and some have a mux of all the before mentioned combined into one hole. You’ll have to see it for yourself. And with alternate tee pads for most, if not all the holes, you’ll be sure to have a different experience should you play here again. I’ve only played here twice (a year apart) so I am uncertain how often the pins are alternated. Overall, I recommend playing this course if you are in the area. If you are coming from far away, make it worth the trip by playing all three Fox courses. Fairways are well maintained, trash was minimal to none and the concrete pads and baskets are in good shape. This speaks highly of those who use this course. As a single player, it took approximately 75-90 minutes for a single round during the early hours of a Saturday morning. This could be partly due to the overcast and potential for rain though. There are a few shelters to take cover from the rain if need be.

Great park, clean and well manicured

A lot of people putting their boats & kayaks in the water and the bridge with car traffic... Doesn't make for the greatest fishing spot exactly, but it was fun to try. It was clean and the people that were there were friendly.
