We came here on January 1st as it was one of the few places open. They had bowl games on and we were able to get a seat for all seven of us on the bar side without a wait. We ordered a few pizzas (cheese and big mac), a quesedilla, the nachos and some kids food (mac and cheese and spaghetti with meatballs). The cheese pizza was great, the big mac pizza was good. The kids liked there food. There was a good selection of draft beer also. By the time we left the placed was packed with people watching football. Very good and fast service even though they were short staffed.
This restaurant gave me an overall pleasant dining experience. Our server was very nice, friendly, and attentive. I ordered the chicken piccata and it wasn’t what I was expecting but I enjoyed it none the less. I would return again if I was in the area and wanted some good food.
I used to love this place but every time we come here its something! Figured I’d give it another shot and she says it’s only appetizers I asked for muscles and suddenly muscles are not appetizers even though it’s on the appetizer list! I spoke people work till nine it’s hard to get here by 10 but suddenly it’s just pizza and appetizers!! and what do you consider a takeout?
Been there twice now. Once for takeout and once to eat in. Place was full but we didn't have to wait for a table. Food was great both times. Our server Jonlyn I believe was her name was fantastic, funny, and sweet. The atmosphere was that of a cozy neighborhood bar/restaurant albeit a little bit nicer with a menu that reflected that uptick. Really nice place. I'd recommend it.
Was there recently. 5 pm and already no where to park. Tough situation for parking. Typical Quincy situation for parking. Had the steak tips and unfortunately they were very chewy/ not good. I should have told our waiter and would have picked something else. Bar area when full which it was is very noisy. Just have to accept that. Bar pizza is overall good.
My wife and I came into Fowler House on New Year's Day, and chose this restaurant out of the many in Quincy for several reasons, among them the variety of food offered on the menu. Man, did the food deliver on its promise! We aren't usually the sort of people who take pictures of their meals, but it was merited in this instance. Every aspect of the meal was utterly delicious, and the portions were beyond generous. I had Rizzo's Italian Platter, my wife the Seafood Bake, and we split Buffalo Tenders and the Spinach Dip. I cannot compliment all of it more highly. The tenders were huge and perfectly breaded and sauced. spinach dip is always good when it's good, and the two main courses were top-notch. I ended up getting through pathetically little of mine (but I ate great when I got home). My wife did much better with the Seafood Bake, and there were still leftovers. I have no idea how they make it so good, but the sauce in the bake is one the most delectable things I've ever tasted. We had to give a mandatory deduction of one star because we waited over 15 minutes to meet our waitperson. While it was New Year's Day, which could make a difference, there were empty tables, and we had to flag down a manager before the server finally came over. To be very nitpicky, we also thought the lighting at the table was a bit harsh. Everything else was great! Our server was very personable and attentive, the atmosphere was such that one could dress up or go in t-shirt and jeans and be comfortable. And really, the food was phenomenal. Highly recommended.
Came to eat after work, was told only appetizers and pizza. No where online it says the kitchen closes at 10. Very dissatisfied as a diabetic there was only fried food available and no consideration from staff that my boyfriend was standing outside choking on the food. Will never be going back.
I ❤️ their scallop risotto and their chili. The prime rib sandwich and Philly cheesesteak is way overcooked and the meat is dry. If you like seafood, I would stick with the scallop risotto, it’s the only thing that is consistently good that I’ve tried over the past 5 years since i started dining here.
I have Capella Yoga & Wellness to thank for getting myself back into yoga after many, many years! The space is warm and comforting and has a gorgeous view of the water. Staff and instructors are awesome- classes are open to all levels but you can def
