Had a wonderful time staying at this property with my wife and two year-old. A teddy bear was waiting for my daughter at check-in and she loved it! Lots of goodies were also then waiting for her and us inside of our room. All of the staff treated us so well and were so kind and courteous. We also really enjoyed the food at Quattro. It was such a terrific stay that we will be coming back again next month. We're all looking forward to it

We were celebrating me and my daughter's birthday and decided to treat ourselves to a mini girl trip overnight stay possibly adding another night. After I made the reservation which was some days before arrival I stated in the notes that it was a birthday celebration. I then called and asked if a little something, i.e a card or complimentary snack with a note or something could be placed in the room, when I later asked they said it was done. However when we checked in, nothing was there. I was surprised that some of the furniture was scratched and chipped, kind of dated and wooden . The soaking tub is a nice large size, with a separate shower, and was surprised the shower head was basic and had little to no water pressure. The TV also basic; I've checked in to lower rated hotels that welcomes you on the screen. I was surprised The Four Seasons didn't have that feature. Also the beds were surprisingly hard. The pillows were amazing like fluffy clouds, we expected the bed to follow suit but it was hard so we had a bad nights sleep. My daughter said it seems like a Courtyard Marriott with a bigger bathroom, and sorry to say the Marriott has softer beds. We continued our trip at the Palace hotel, instead of inquiring for an extended stay, so either it's over rated or they deliberately assigned us a room that has yet to be updated.

For the price I do not recommend the four seasons. We stayed here twice before and the standards were soooo high and everything was near perfect. Two years later we chose this hotel for my surgery recovery...fairly confident that it would be the same experience. The first room we were put in was beaten down and worn. The lamps were splitting + cracked, one lamp had scuff marks on it, the carpet was frayed in multiple locations, bathroom vanity was torn up, entertainment center damaged + TV crooked. We showed the front desk pictures and have now been moved into a bigger room but now we are facing the 6 lane highway...this room is slightly better but also extremely worn. For over $800 per night this is ridiculous. We won't stay here again.

Customer service was excellent, but the rooms are quite outdated. When visiting Silicon Valley, one would expect modern amenities, yet this hotel still uses rotary AC controls and lacks basic tech features like Chromecast on the TV. Despite being told we had received two upgrades, this claim felt more like a joke than a genuine improvement. Location-wise, the area is rather uneventful unless you have a car. While we appreciated not receiving turn-down service the first night due to our 'Do Not Disturb' sign, it was confusing and inconsistent not to receive it on the second night when we didn’t have the sign up. We didn’t necessarily need turn-down service, but consistency would have been appreciated. One nice touch was the availability of coffee and small pastries conveniently located right at the bottom of the elevator. Although it’s only available for two hours, from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m., it felt like the kind of amenity one would expect from a hotel of this stature. However, one of the most disappointing aspects was the fact that the hotel charges $9 for a single bottle of water in the room. For a hotel of this caliber, it feels excessive and exploitative, reflecting the worst aspects of capitalism—squeezing every penny from your guests. We’ve stayed at a basic Hyatt in Mountain View that was far more modern and comfortable than this Four Seasons. Unfortunately, this was our first, and likely our last, stay at a Four Seasons. We understand that experiences vary across chains, but for a location that charges up to $6,000 per night, it’s baffling that they haven’t invested in upgrading the property. Lastly, while we didn’t use the pool, we noticed that reserving a comfortable seat costs $250—another distasteful policy that leaves a bad impression. However, I must commend the hotel and restaurant staff, who were all fabulous and provided outstanding service. This is by far the highlight of this hotel. If the location is fitting for business or visiting purposes it will suffice. it is in no way a bad experience. It just isn't what I expected.

Best part about our stay was the people and service. 5 stars all around. Rooms were very nice as well. My wife and i were celebrating our anniversary and they added an extra special touch. Great recommendations for dinner in Palo Alto and day hiking in the Santa Cruz Mountains

Four Seasons chain hotel exemplifies well curated service along with a focus on wellness and relaxation facilities. The hotel at East Palo Alto though seemingly dated makes up for this with additional equipments and amenities. During graduation season in June 2024 we were given plenty of assistance and attention to our needs before, during and after the event via written notices, packets, etc. The exemplary service was mainly with the front office esp Caitlin of the front desk who also helped us with our luggage transport requirements after our stay. Housekeeping was spotty as we encountered staff who were not yet familiar with the protocols. The rooms were very spacious with the added benefit of a personal workout station. As for the location, it is not easily accessible to other areas but adds a bit of privacy and welcomed feeling of remoteness. Arguably one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences within the greater palo Alto area but then again it does have to live up to its category and the standards of the Four Seasons brand.

FRAUD hotel. Double charged an extra $96+ to my breakfast room charge, and still refuses to correct this FRAUD after I traveled and emailed 5 times total already to clearly explain their obvious error and FRAUD. Also, air conditioner has inaccurate temperature. Not worth the price at all. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL if you don't want to get charged for something you didn't buy. During my stay, I did not take anything from the mini-bar, but when I was reviewing my invoice afterwards, I noticed I was charged $45 for it. When I called, it seemed that the only thing they know how to do is redirecting me front and back. They also promised that the manager would call me back, and guess what? No callback whatsoever. Hard to believe this is the kind of service at a Four Seasons Hotel. Extremely disappointed.
