Four Points by Sheraton San Francisco Bay Bridge - Hotel in Emeryville - 1603 Powell St, USA

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I checked in and 7 vehicles including mine were broken into. Even when there is 24 hour security in the parking lot. I felt the vibe that the security guard is in on the robberies. The hotel management is not the best. They threaten to call the police on several guest for small issues that can be avoided. I also saw them kick guest out of the lobby. I do not recommend this hotel, as I spoke with police officers they notified me that these break in happen all the time. Do not come here go to another hotel.

Stayed 5 nights. Newer looking refreshed rooms. The employees were all very nice. Location is just across the bridge from San Fran which is a plus but the area seems a little sketchy. Full time security patrols the parking lot. I had a room on the 6th floor. It was NOT facing the bay/bridge and I do not recommend this side. It looks out over train tracks and I was awoken every morning at 5am to train horns. Sound insulation in the rooms is horrible. You hear doors slamming and outside noise constantly. Housekeeping was promised daily but they only came 2 out of 4 days, which was frustrating.

Went to visit our son in Berkeley and stayed here for 2 nights. Very clean hotel with amenities. Beds were comfy, free coffee, close to shopping stores, close to restaurants and front desk was very attentive. Stayed in room 601 and it was a bit noisy being next to major streets. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Service was amazing as soon as I entered the hotel. Jenn and Fernanda really cared and took the time to find a solution when I was having issues with my reservation on my end. I haven't even napped yet, and I feel good about the stay already! Stay here if you'd like an overall comforting experience! Also, the location is wonderful. Easy freeway access if you want to hit up SF. There are also shopping centers and fun things to do within walking distance.

A nice hotel in a convenient location. It is right next to the Emeryville train station. When I checked in late at night, the staff were helpful and because of my Marriott Platinum status, they had upgraded me to a slightly larger room with a good view. The hotel is nice, clean and in a great location. The room was spacious, the bed was nice and it was overall a good experience.

The Night Manager at this location Zhayla English is extremely rude. I stayed here over the past weekend and she was not only rude to me but other patrons at this hotel. The manner is which she spoke to me was something I have never experienced. When I asked to speak to some else she informed me “ she’s the night manager and there’s no one else I could speak to.” I then asked for the general managers card and she provided me with the assistant managers card. I then re asked for the assistant managers card and she reluctantly provided it. I sent an email to the assistant and general manager in regards to my interaction with Ms. English. The assistant manager Ms. Mendoza was apologetic and informed me that two other employees were there as well and also informed her in the way she spoke to me was unprofessional and a conversation will be had. I am still waiting for the General Manager Michelle Sims to follow up with me. As a black Woman staying at this establishment and the other black patrons who I spoke to as well who had a rude encounter with Ms English I hope this is truly handled accordingly.

Positive: The staff was very friendly and everything in the room was very clean. The housekeeper on our floor (7th) did an excellent job. Negative: It¿s not in the best location in terms of safety but we appreciated the convenience to shopping centers. We had not been to a hotel where you needed to swipe your card to be allowed into the lobby, but given the location, it was understandable.

Clean rooms and good service. It’s in a Pretty good location with some shops within walking distance. Our AC unit smelled strongly of mildew though and that put a damper on the stay. Outside of that, it was a great hotel and we would likely book here again.
