Four Points by Sheraton French Quarter - Featured Reviews (2880)
This hotel is perfect location wise. Although during my visit the hotels lobby was under renovation, it was still a great stay. The hotel is actually on Bourbon street and surrounded by so many amazing restaurants, bars, and stores. Check in was quick and the staff was pleasant. The elevator was extremely slow, as there are only 2 and one was always down. The pool is beautiful, clean, and warm. Our room was clean, nicely sized, and the beds were so plush/comfy. I cannot street enough how great the location of this hotel is. Right across the street is Tropical Isle, which is home of the grenade drink most people come to Nola for. I was only in Nola for 24hours but I will for sure be back and for sure be staying at the Four Points again
Was in New Orleans for a mix of work, friends, and fun time, so was a week or so. Booked at the Sheraton as it was close to so many things, no need to Uber or cab it much. Location, location, location. Staff here was just fabulous. The front desk manager was an angel, everything I needed was taken care of. I am a Platinum Elite and when I checked in, they upgraded me to a junior suite which was so nice and turned out to be better than the balcony room, when you realize its hot in July and the Quarter is busy and loud, just the way it is. Loved my stay, had a friend come and join in a second room, for a birthday celebration, and it was all so nice. I would definitely stay again. If you want quiet, get a courtyard room. Thank you to the staff, what a lovely property (renovations are well done) and a carefree visit.
If you are looking for a quality hotel in the French Quarter, I definitely recommend Four Points. The people working the front desk are especially nice and helpful. The wait staff was pretty good. The pool was enjoyable. I wish they made a bit more shade around the pool, but it was still fun. Our room was a little run down, like the toilet didn’t flush right and the water faucet in the bathroom sink was hard to maneuver. It was just really “sticky.” I’m giving the hotel 5 stars for their location but a tip for anyone who is visiting NOLA for the first time…if you want to be in the middle of the craziness of Bourbon St, this is a great location and I recommend Four Points for your stay. If partying and drinking isn’t your thing, stay somewhere else and spend a day in the French Quarter rather than staying there.
Amazing location in the middle of Bourbon St. They give you ear plugs, but we have never needed them. Great service! So easy to do and see everything. Close walk to trolley, art, food, attractions. Safe! Clean Comfy Rooms! There is everything you could want for your stay. Book here!!!
The location and cleanliness was the best part. Also the morning check in staff was so friendly. The night clerk was the worst employee I’ve ever ran into staying at any hotel before. After all the money we had paid the least we could have had was decent customer service but looking through the reviews I’m learning I’m not the only person who had left a bad review about her. This used to be my favorite hotel to stay in but we probably won’t ever stay again. You’d think if more than one person leaves a review about the same employee that the hotel would actually do something about her if they cared about their guests.
Rooms were a bit small. However, it's an old building, and they made the most with what they had, and they were nice and clean. We had a room with a balcony that faced the pool. It was really nice. You get the quietness from not facing Bourbon Street, but you don't get to people watch. Front desk ladies, bartender, and valet were all nice and personable. It matters when you feel welcome and they ask questions and chat a little bit more than the standard. I'd stay again and recommend for children as we had an 8 month old. Oh, walls are great and insulated. We barely heard anything out of our door and nothing from either side of us.
Great location right in the middle of the French Quarter and an easy walk to everything. Definitely get a room with a balcony. Worth getting up to watch the sunrise. Excellent customer service from all the staff who were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The court yard has a beautiful pool and was a nice quiet place to unwind at the end of the day. Thanks for the awesome stay! Definitely will be our go to hotel in New Orleans going forward.
My wife and I stayed here last week for our 30th anniversary and it was a surprise from her to me. If you are staying here, make sure your room is in the back unless you like loud club music from Bourbon street until 3 or 4 in the morning. This was probably my only negative. The bars like to prop their doors wide open to draw people in. Besides the bathrooms being small and cramped, these rooms are really nice and clean. There is no room service for food, but you can walk down to the bar and order to go. Good food, but expensive just like everything in the French Quarters was. I was anticipating attitude from the employees based on other reviews, but all the hotel staff were very nice and courteous. I would stay here again, just might make sure it's a quieter room next time.
