Four Oaks Lodging - Motel in Four Oaks - 4606 U.S. Hwy 301 S, USA

It was okay. I really liked how quiet it was, especially at night. The birds in the trees were a nice wake-up alarm. The staff seemed okay... They weren't welcoming but not rude. I can understand having security, but it seemed like the entire family just stayed locked up in the office like they were scared or something. It was noted that laundry being an additional charge on the site I booked my room, but the owner seemed confused when I asked about it. I don't recommend drying your clothes there. 25 cents gets you five minutes. Two minutes of drying and three of "cooling." Not sure if they set it up like that or it came programmed that way. The TV channel selection was terrible. I don't think I'll be back it seems like one of those places that's really suited for another demographic sort of speak.

I was there for almost a year the neighbors are very good I've been away for that almost 2 years I do miss that place a lot it is off of 95 the very busy road but if you want somewhere to stay overnight that's the best way to go she is on call 24 hours a day if you call her for something it can be 3:00 in the morning she will come out if the neighbors haven't fit with you or yelling at you she will come out to fix it but I was working on the road I will have to leave there because I was working on the road I got transferred out to another place but if I was back in that City I will stop by tell him I said hello because I miss them prices so much I've been to about 65 campsites since I've been on the road a lot I think that one is the number one I know very good it is no drugs nobody will be partying outside at midnight it is no no bad water maybe one day I come back in town stop by to get overnighter the father was very good the sun is very good and the mother was very good and the train track did not bother me

Place was clean, wash rags to bathe with were stained and beds were hard as a rock. Guess they been there since the 50's. Great price just needs a few improvements.

I have been staying here on my North/South trips for more than 20 years and have never had a bad experience on any level. Simple , clean rooms with a staff, starting with the parents, that has always cheerfully greeted me and met my needs. I come from a small town but lived in NYC over 30 years as well as many other major urban locations and staying at Four Oaks was a pleasant reminder of my upbringing; a quiet and safe place to rest for a night. I love it!

Didn't even stay! The person on the phone was very rude ( as if I was bothering her). I was only asking about the rate for a week! She kept saying " I...as of today DO NOT HAVE ANYROOMS AVAILABLE! Didn't give me time to say what day ( rather it was a month from now or what! Lady...there are plenty other motels..that will be glad to get my business! You a r e very untactful ( Nasty actin, no customer service)! Don't have to worry about me calling back!

This is primarily an RV location but they have about 10 rooms. Great deal for one night. Right off 95 on 301S. Flat screen cable TV, free Wi-Fi, refrigerator, microwave. No frills, but decent for one night. I've stayed here many times on my way home from Florida to NJ. Nice people. Left my eyeglasses once and they mailed them to me. Walk-in, a room always available.

My stay was very uncomfortable the lady in the office had a snotty attitude soon as I woke up and went to get coffee in the office. The place was skeevey rooms are tiny very outdated..wasn't Evan check out and was being rushed out very very unprofessional. Forgot something very sentalmental and they said it was tossed in the dumpster. Iwould not prefer anyone to this place....

You get what you pay for here and that is a clean place to shower and crash for the night. Don't expect much else. We stayed in one of the motel rooms and for 30 bucks for 2 beds, a flatscreen tv with satellite, and free wifi, this place can't be beat. I hate spending 3 times as much for hotels where I only need to stay briefly. This place was perfect for just passing through the area. It is near I-95 (in a very quiet area) and there are places to eat a short drive away. I recommend Papa's Subs and Pizza.
